I believe I read that the haze / fog wall effect will also be addressed. Can you confirm jspahn?

There are some videos of Silverlining in action on youtube, including how it handles various atmospheric effects..... :-)

And the demo is at the Sundog site for anyone who wants to play.....

Pretty much blows the current default clouds out of the water.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Keep in mind it isnt a full integration of SilverLining.   Procedurally drawn skies wont make their way into  version 1.  But this is something we hope for in the future, again depends on how much cooperation we get from LR....

We do have a solid road map which brings more and more into SkyMAXX Pro.....

I think I might get X-Plane now, because of this upcoming release. Those god rays are absolutely heavenly :P I hope more people move to XP, that funds more fantastic add-on development like this ;) I'll order it before the week is out.

Now keep this in mind, I am not saying this as a salesperson...lol

But honestly the overall feel of X-Plane 10 has changed dramatically with SkyMAXX........I can't quite put my finger on it, I think maybe it just feels more "alive",  more organic....

How about a video showing an ILS approach to an airport with a low layer of Overcast, coming from above the clouds, inside, until you break out of them and see the runway. That would be very cool!

Looking forward for that!  If it proves to be effective, I'll feel even happier :-)

I asked Dave to add an ILS approach to his video......You probably dont know but I dont have a lot of input on his final products......I let it fly knowing the clouds will speak for themselves.....
