  • Well I am assuming the thread title is a typo! Nobody got beyond here as far as I know! Good idea for a thread, I happened to pop some screens while looking through aircraft for the Best Freeware A

  • What happened to this thread? I am more into moving pics with sound (not music) than stills now but hey let's see some pics.

  • Here's some old screenshots from around last year. Unfortunately, I go through FS phases due to real life commitments and I'm happy to report that I've been actively flying FS9 for the past few weeks

Good shots, crim, haven't seen actual unretouched screenshots in a while, let alone windowed...

Although your little Fokker's natural habitat would normally be thick with blue/white airframes!

Nice work on that old Ilyushin Ed, it's a great excuse to go for a cruise but there's no Boeing where you're going.

And, you'll need a little help.

Tried to purchase a copy of FS2004 and no go!  Could even find one of the jewel cased one that Wal Mart would sell for $9.95.

But I can still get new copies of FS 2002.

It can be had from Amazon.com

Best to get a used copy as the new ones seem to be getting collector's value at $9,999.00

Wow, wonder how much my "Flight Simulator for Windows 95" original package could be worth?!

Great shots lately everyone btw!

My search for the 777 starts from Perth (YPPH) …I was looking forward to flying "down under"

However I'm finding the aussie airport sceneries very uninspiring.

edit: your Chinese IL-76 are quite the wrong colour.

Thankyou Bill…….I smile …then I look at your avatar …then I'm not sure if I'm allowed to smile.

@ Ed:

Where did you get those amazing clouds from?

Well, you know  there are people out there who don't think they made a decent car after the Dodge Charger of the 1970s. Maybe the same applies to flight simulators ... :P

Technically your search starts from Bullsbrook and you're going the other way, so lack of scenery shouldn't bother too much! B)

And until you came along, that was the quota of Chinese IL-76 available (I was amazed there WAS a Chinese IL-76 available)

But you're right, unless you're prepared to VOZ your entire sim (and I'm not, some of it is irreversible), there's not too much that inspires in the great FS9 Australia.

You are quite right Charl.  :Nerd:

Hopefully Fly Tampa will change that ….but I will not hold my breath. :Peace:

Me neither... but if someone planned a new NZAA for FS9 I would hold my breath until I turned purple.

And I'd invite you over for the most complete flightsim experience in existence!

For ground texture replacement, don't forget to try my freeware "Terra Emergence Project"...
