March 30, 201412 yr Am thinking of buying this aircraft. Any feedback, pros/cons? Thanks. Cannot find anything in Member Reviews. And are sceneries from LatinVFR and TropicalSim worth buying? Rick Almeida
March 30, 201412 yr i bought it friday night and love it ! It is the most stable ga add on I ve seen as far as flight dynamics. If you like GA you cant go wrong with this one. I flew it around the volcano at Guatamala city and had a enjoyable flight. Vic green
March 30, 201412 yr It might be great aiplane but I hate twin engines because it is almost impossible to enjoy those wonderful sceneries we can have these days... (That´s why I fly so little with wonderful RaelaAir Duke...)
March 30, 201412 yr Tough to learn how to take off.. grabbed it this weekend as well.. I enjoy their Baron a lot more, also seems like more work was put into the cockpit in the Baron as well.. But for the sale price it is a great deal to pick up!
March 30, 201412 yr Author Just bought it but cannot find any documentation to it. Maybe I'm missing something, but I cannot see any light switches, flap selector, etc. Any pointers? Thanks. Rick Almeida
March 30, 201412 yr I think the C310 was one of the (if not THE) first GA aircraft that MilViz did, and as such is a little dated. Not much mind you, particularly since the model is based upon an early variation and is meant to be retro. And yeah, if you are used to Beechcraft cockpits you will be hunting around a bit... Documentation is downloaded from the MilViz site, free of charge. March 30, 201412 yr Author Documentation is downloaded from the MilViz site, free of charge. Thanks a bunch for that. Am heading there right now. Yes, I agree, it does look a bit dated and confusing compared to some other GA aircraft. Rick Almeida
March 30, 201412 yr Here is the Avsim review of the Milviz 310R and 4 more twins. Regards, Ray http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/reviews/mad-catzsaitek-flight-simulator-cockpit-r690 When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
March 30, 201412 yr The C310 has character, that's for sure. And it's not that dated I think, just the panel looks somewhat cranky. Might as well be a realistic depiction, as in fact the C310 is quite dated by now ;-)
March 30, 201412 yr The C310 is really nice - yes their (Milviz) Baron B55 may have nicer cockpit eye candy, but this one is kinder on fps, and imho has better flight dynamics..

Light controls are on the pilot's side panel, just under the window... Full set of manuals and some tutorial missions: http://www.milviz.com/Cessna/Cessna_310R_POH_Manuals.zip I highly recommend flying the six missions that were created by the owner of the real C310R (Ken Stallings). March 31, 201412 yr Author Thanks for that Fr Bill, but somebody else here gave me the lead to where to get that documentation. Will give those 6 missions a shot. Rick Almeida

I'll put them on my private ftp server and make links available in the Milviz forum here at AVSIM. Fr.
