June 9, 201411 yr Commercial Member will you ever just give over , sick of you and your pointless little smart comments I'm sorry you feel that way, but let's be honest here: I'm getting to the point that I hate doing anything for anyone here because I'm constantly picked at. If I put up a video, people point out completely irrelevant things that aren't "right." If I post a picture, the same thing happens. Luke posts pictures in an effort to show people the plane they've been dying to see, and instead of simply "thank you," people are picking at random, irrelevant details. "Thank you," move on. There's no need to try and play stump the chump, or try and prove you're more intelligent than the people going out of their way to show you things you'd otherwise not be seeing. It's childish and stupid. Sure, my post was no better, but I'm tired of the stupid sophomoric game the sim crowd loves to engage in. Also, because I aim to please: Go to the top right of the screen. June 9, 201411 yr Only one person said anything directly criticizing you. Perhaps you should consider giving out a "you're welcome, glad you all enjoyed the shots" to the other ten that thanked and praised you, rather than snapping at the community due to one bad apple.

I 100% agree with you that people should just appreciated that luke even bothered to do this for them and not pick out stupid things saying he did them wrong but it doesnt make it any better when you write a smart comment back , instead of just ignoring them ? not getting into anything here cause this thread is about these 300er screenshots and not our pointless bickering , So we may leave it here Dave Sullivan
June 9, 201411 yr Kyle, never mind the flak elsewhere. As for me, please point out what Luke is doing wrong so some of us can glean from your experience. June 9, 201411 yr Looking great! You should get FTX global or something your ground textures look awful. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
June 9, 201411 yr Commercial Member Only one person said anything directly criticizing you. Perhaps you should consider thanking the other ten that thanked and praised you for the shots, instead of snapping at the community due to one bad apple. It's not my thread. It's Luke's. I'm sure he'd be very happy that people have been thanking him. As for me, I came in and made a joke, taking a shot at the one person who played stump the chump, and making a joke to Luke. If people criticize me, I will defend myself. End of story. Kyle, never mind the flak elsewhere. As for me, please point out what Luke is doing wrong so some of us can glean from your experience. Hence, take heart that there are those who will not like one single jot of what you may have to expound upon, and there are those who want to glean from you. Luke did nothing wrong, per se. Someone pointed out that he left the APU on, as if it were an error. Technical accuracy is usually not the first thing that goes through your mind the very first time you take an aircraft for a spin in the simulator. Let's be real. I mean, really...I'm willing to bet that everyone has done that before. Load sim, start aircraft (if necessary) and just go blasting off. If you skip a few checklist items, big deal. Sorry, I know the response was a little childish, but can I get a little benefit of the doubt here? As someone who regularly puts stuff out there for people on YouTube and in pictures here, I'm more worn out than others when it comes to the nitpicky commentary. If Luke's pictures were part of a "let me show you how to realistically operate the 300ER," then yeah, sure, the comment would be relevant. This is a screenshot thread, though, where he was just putting photos up so that people could - in theory - just enjoy them. Looking great! You should get FTX global or something your ground textures look awful. He tried FTX Global a while back, but every time he installed it, it corrupted his hard disk. There were posts about it here, and I know Ryan and I were trying our best to help him out, too. Not sure we (or orbx) ever pinned down the actual cause. Sorry - don't mean to answer for him, but he's also likely sleeping since it's still pretty early over there on the West Coast. Kyle Rodgers
June 9, 201411 yr Thanks for the Flight Deck pic....cant wait any longer for SP1.. MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.
June 9, 201411 yr Attaway, that's the way this thread should, IMHO, proceed instead of firing off shots against. Great screenshot, Luke. Should hopefully allay some of last week's posts asking for news. Rick Almeida
June 9, 201411 yr Hello Kyle, I know that you did not snap out of nothing, and I'm sure that many others like myself knew you were undeniably and obviously joking with someone in the same team as you are, however, someone actually didn't get it. And I felt sorry you had to take the weight of the world on your shoulder, so if only you could point out that you were joking and just let it go, you'd let go of much pressure you really don't need. Relax and keep it up. :good: Ahmed Abdessalam "That which means you can't, doesn't mean you ain't. And that which means you ain't, doesn't mean you can't" -Ahmed Abdessalam
June 9, 201411 yr Stuck far away from my sim on holiday- and salivating furiously. It will be several days before I feel her bogeys leave the asphalt and I am waiting with all consuming anticipation. Great livery choice BTW Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
June 9, 201411 yr I wish BA would base some 777-300's at EGKK Also why is it so wrong to land with the APU running? I would of thought this would have been a good idea if it was a very short taxi from runway to stand. Tony Simpson FLYING FROM EGKK, The worlds busiest single runway Airport.
June 9, 201411 yr Kyle, posting on Avsim is like planning a wedding. No matter how hard you try someone will always ###### and complain it wasn't to their liking. Kacper Nowotynski
June 9, 201411 yr In my ERJ145 the APU is always on during landings - what's all this fuss about? What happened to AVSIM
