LM have a much larger crew of software engineers working on this than I had originally thought --  which is a good indication of LM's commitment to this platform and it's success.

Excellent news and explains in a sentence why I'm completely committed to this platform.

Thanks much, again, for the updates!

Thanks, Rob for all your work. It's very exciting that LM is so committed to this. Think of how far we've come since v2 was released.

Thanks, Rob for all your work.

Yeah, it has been many 2am nights ... but it's worth it to me and good see P3D tasks coming together.

Cheers, Rob.

I think it's getting close, but I have no idea when it'll be released.  LM have a much larger crew of software engineers working on this than I had originally thought --  which is a good indication of LM's commitment to this platform and it's success.

Cheers, Rob.

Awesome - you go LM - this is great news Rob - thank you

Why don't they just make it clear with settings that you are at DNE if you want to get the performance they are going for, but leave the settings in for young bold simmers to thrill themselves with.

Because there are a lot of people out there that max out everything and say "my system should be able to get 100 fps because I can do that in Call of Duty".  Give them an inch and they feel entitled to the entire planet ;)

So they need to put such controls in a "Do Not Exceed" area.  It's all about messaging, simply say "If it hurts it's because we told you it would hurt" (Literally!). You can have a control for normal range, and then a control that goes past DNE in an "It's all your fault / no fault" tab/page.  It's just that some freaks like US like to play around on the cliff's edge, just to see what if.  Sometimes I would turn down absolutely EVERYTHING ELSE if I could get LOD up to 16.5 where it should be.  And I don't care if I fall over the cliff every once in a while in a simulator.

Now thats a powerful statement, because im sure that many of us were under the impressions that it was a smaller crew. Clearly has strong support backing. Fantastic news. And Rob, your a great representative for all us simmers.  All your testing is truly appreciated as it culminates towards the final release.

It's a sign of the difficulty level.

Not only does that mean a big commitment to Prepar3D, but also faster bug-fixing. Great fact in my opinion.

Have they fixed the R6025 error many users have encountered?

Have LM fixed those vertical flashing lines?

That's a good question... . I didn't notice any in Rob's videos , so hopefully that's a good sign they did... Rob can you confirm? . ... and thanks for the feedback/insight !

Has the water been improved since version 2.0? DX9 water in FSX using REX was pretty damn impressive at times, and I am keen to know how the P3D water compares to that.
