September 8, 201411 yr I wonder why there aren't so many customer reviews for this scenery?! regards Patrick
September 8, 201411 yr So it is AES? In your opinion, is it worth buying Heathrow now, or wait? Purely your opinion! The scenery is not yet AES compatible out of the box. I believe as stated in this thread somewhere Simwings plan to release CTRL+J animated jetways probably because an AES update is not anticipated to be coming anytime soon. Oliver at Aerosoft is I believe in the process of completely revamping AES and that is taking his time away from developing airport updates. To make an airport compatible requires a lot of work on the part of Aerosoft rather than Simwings. Lawrence Ashworth
September 8, 201411 yr Folks, I will probably buy this scenery. However, worried i'll mess it up, is there any way to keep UK2000 V2 installed but deactivated, and have SW's version installed and active? Scenery Config Editor is your friend or you could just uncheck the scenery that is involved with UK2000 Heathrow. Be careful of "UK2000 Common Library", if you have other UK2000 scenery, you will need that to stay active. Ric Elmore
September 9, 201411 yr ok, that should be fine then, with no other UK2K Scenery! Thanks! -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
September 9, 201411 yr So Aerosoft EGLL doesnt have moving jetways right now? Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
September 9, 201411 yr Author I don't own the scenery but I'm pretty sure you'll have to wait for next version of AES for that.

September 12, 201411 yr can someone clever tell me which one out of 1.ORBX England 2. Horizon // Playsims VFR England Uses the most VAS, hence trying to get rid of OOMS into EGLL. I have both, orbx and all the playsims, england, scotland and ireland. But only the ORBX England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern ireland is installed on my system many thanks.
September 12, 201411 yr I can't speak for Horizon, but in the London area, ORBX uses more VAS than FSX or P3D default because it adds many fully detailed London landmark buildings, such as the Shard. I like ORBX England, so to avoid OOMs in the London area I deactivate addon EGLC and EGKK, and use a lower VAS plane such as the Wilco/Feelthere Airbus. Petraeus
September 12, 201411 yr Aerosoft has released the updated AES if no-one has noticed it. Lawrence Ashworth
September 12, 201411 yr The lack of customer reviews at the shops is mysterious to me.. I wonder why?! regards Patrick
September 12, 201411 yr Question popped into my head:Does Aerosoft have static traffic? or is that just UK2K? -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
September 12, 201411 yr I expected this scenery to get many more hits and attention. But on contrary, lack of reviews or comparings with the other scenery, is somewhat suspicious. I also wonder why. Would like to buy it, but don't like buying into unknown.

I only have orbx eu and every time I flew into an airport with the 777 I would have to deactivate it because the VAS was so high. Orbx just released New libraries and one of the fix mentions new autogen description file and that has made a big difference in VAS. With Heathrow xtended and the 777 my VAS was right around 3.2gb so its a little better than before.
