April 12, 201511 yr I doubt it as it has some sort of optimizer Works just fine with MyTraffic 6 (just as it did in MT 5.4c...)

April 12, 201511 yr I doubt it as it has some sort of optimizer My Traffic Pro 6 has no built-in optimizer.
April 13, 201511 yr My Traffic Pro 6 has no built-in optimizer. Correct but has a lite version switch of some sort - I dont know as I dont own it Rich Sennett
April 13, 201511 yr Tried to use this nice utility in P3D V2.5 and get an exception error ... "Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect, version=10.0.61242.0'... " That's a pretty old version of SimConnect even older than FSX SP2 is 10.0.61259.0 (which is what I have installed for compatibility). Just an FYI, Cheers, Rob.
April 13, 201511 yr Correct but has a lite version switch of some sort - I dont know as I dont own it Rich, Unlike Version 5, it no longer has three resolutions of models,. Version 6 It only has the highest resolution models from Version 5 plus any new aircraft that have gone into service. So, no, there's no "lite" version either which has made some people with older computers unhappy. But the author (Burkhard) explained that allowing the user to choose the detail level of the models was creating problems in Version 5 (triple the number of models to keep track of for bug chasing). In addition he did a poll on the official message board and discovered that very few people were using the low resolution models in version 5 anyway. Time marches on. Jay
April 13, 201511 yr Commercial Member Tried to use this nice utility in P3D V2.5 and get an exception error ... Don't forget Rob, that if certain systems only have installed FSX Standard or Deluxe, and are updated to SP1a, then those systems would only have 60905 and 61242 on them. If the client only need functionality included with FSX (not Acceleration SP2, 61259, basically the same function set minus the race functions) then selecting this version of simconnect (61242) for that app, would have been the most reliable solution, so that the program works with FSX standalone, or FSX+A without customer intervention. So for these apps to work in P3D, or FSX-SE, we might need to install the .msi for 61242. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
April 13, 201511 yr Rob are you running it before running P3d if so you will get an error. Must be run once you open P3d David Murden. April 26, 201511 yr Anyone know if the traffic optimizer actually works in P3D V2.5? It crashes on startup for me. I start P3D sit on the tarmac then try to start the optimizer. Thanks!

April 26, 201511 yr Anyone know if the traffic optimizer actually works in P3D V2.5? It crashes on startup for me. I start P3D sit on the tarmac then try to start the optimizer. Thanks! It does but you need the correct simconnect from older fsx versions and I do not know which ones specifically Rich Sennett
April 26, 201511 yr I never had to install any FSX simconnect for it to work - just FSUIPC... RichUK, try loading at the startup screen or at the scenario creation menu (before you start a flight).
