September 25, 201411 yr lol I'm still on a GTX 570.... single mon 1920x1080 (well technically two monitors but FSX/P3D only runs on 1) Same and I have a 970 on order. I'm sure I'll be happy, then in a few months I'll get another and SLI it.

September 25, 201411 yr Can you tell anything about what addons you use here? For instance do you use FTX Global? Active Sky? Loading default scenery is very hard on the gpu. Brynjar Mauseth
September 25, 201411 yr Author Well, lots of comments and questions ! :o Wonder what an upgrade from a 770 would be like? Well according to the first benchmarks, and depending on the situations, you can expect an average +20 % boost. Can you tell anything about what addons you use here? For instance do you use FTX Global? Active Sky? Loading default scenery is very hard on the gpu. I'm not using FS Global at the moment, but FTX Sak (situation 1 & 3) and Jennasoft LFLL (situation 2). For the weather, indeed I'm a proud ASN customer.
September 25, 201411 yr Well according to the first benchmarks, and depending on the situations, you can expect an average +20 % boost. And this will be value for money? I my opinion it would be not! I have a gtx 770, too. But instead buying a 970 now, I would wait until next year, when the 20nm architecture are released. Imagine, what powerfull the video card will be, if the video card (bigger video card) will use about 250-300 Watt!!
September 25, 201411 yr I had EVGA GTX670 FTW 2GB before I got my GTX 780 3GB last spring and definitely the biggest handicap for my 670 was its 2GB of VRAM. As I use surround setup with over triple the normal FullHD resolution, I can very easily get my VRAM usage over 2GB. If usage is capped and more, GPU goes to hybrid mode utilizing system RAM through PCIE. This gives huge performance impact and something that could be easily observed in FPS numbers.

This would indeed be great if this work in windows/windowed fullscreen with out actual need to use change desktop resolution
September 25, 201411 yr Maybe only the new DSR function would be an advantage? Spirit Might be. I've downsampling 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 and it works pretty nice. No problems at all. Spirit
September 25, 201411 yr Well, lots of comments and questions ! Well one more: could you post your HW spec, beside your video card? Also what about the resolution the screenshots were taken at?
