Guys just noticed that I was having a little Aliasing issue on external stripes (graphic on the side of the plane - I deleted my shaders folder (P3D Users) and the problem was gone may want to do that to be on the safe side - DSR is actually visually stunning and I can turn things on or up with out a fps hit - thats a good thing

Brian,

Which F15 is that.. awesome shots mate!

It's the F-15E from IRIS with the Metal2Mesh avionics upgrade.

FYI, this driver screwed up any game I played in fullscreen.  BF4, ARMA 3, Titanfall.  So you know,  SLI 780's are my GPUs

I can't really see a massive AA or shimmering improvement......I went 2.0x and 33>50>100% i have made my res in the p3d menus max

How can I confirm that I installed the driver correctly and it is in fact doing what it's supposed to. I mean, I am nowhere near the smoothness of flying01 stills

Easy. Just look at the menu window and text display, if they become smaller (in your case about 30% smaller) then DSR is working for you. Also make sure you hit Alt+Enter to switch to full window mode.

Did you alt enter to the desktop and then alt enter again back into P3D you should see a bit more blurry menu text - you will not see much better AA - the thing with this method really seems to be a performance boost

Does it have to be full screen mode to see the DSR really working?

Yes for sure

I'll say it again: this is NOTHING NEW. It's just super sampling, which has always been available via Nividia Inspector with the EXACT SAME IMAGE QUALITY and SAME FPS. I don't get why y'all are so excited about this. It's exciting for games that cannot use supersampling, but FSX and P3D have always been able to.

Is there a difference in this and just setting up a custom resolution that's scaled to your monitor? I can run my 1920x1080 monitor with a custom resolution of 2560x1440 for most games.

Probably better off with your custom resolution.

However with DSR you could try 4K and compare.

+1

Cant wait to get this going once the full DSR capable driver is released.

P3D v4.4, FSLabs 320, ORBX Global, Vector, Fly Tampa Airports, FSDT Airports, ActiveSky, REX Sky Force

Tried this yesterday. I found it does work but I need to have the "blackout desktop" checkbox ticked (I run 2 monitors, but the second is used for extra programs rather than P3d itself).

The display did look better, but suffered from stutters, although the frame rate was fine. Maybe my 760 wasn't quite up to the task. When the correcct desktop drivers are released, I'll give it another go, but for now I'm back on 344.11.

DSR Works fine in Window Mode,no Problems with 2 monitors
