Nice little airport Duration of the flight was about 25 mins. I plan to do more flights in this region and hope to get weather like this (from ca. 1:45). If need be, I will create it myself. Behind the estuary you can see the runway of PAUN Quite sunny weather, this way flying is big fun Some clouds are crossing the way ... ... actually not clouds, but high fog. Some hills still stand out Descent to Holy Cross (PAHC) - not yet visible. It should be somewhere below the front wheel. That's the way of living in Alaska ... an airfield in front of your door ... Turn-over at the (almost) end of the runway Very short taxiway and you're already on the apron Holy Cross. How many people do live here? Not many: 227 (census 2000). Although the landscape is some kind of fascinating - I wouldn't like to live here ... especially in winter. Dark all the time AND cold. Flight time was 45 minutes.
