Wait...this file fixes both vertical and spinning clouds?  I won't be able to test until later tonight.

Rob is right and the 2.2 cloud-shader helps a bit with rotating clouds.

But there is a side effect.

Did you notice that you simply LOSE YOUR CLOUD-SHADOWS???

Well, if the no cloud-shadows = FSX equation is true, then most probably the best is to use FSX, but I personally love the cloud-shadows, so no rotating stuff will prevent me using the 2.4 cloud shader.

BTW, the cloud2 shader is the very same since 2.2

Nope, cloud shadows are fine ... sound like you missed something.  Bob made this a sticky in Tips and Tricks forum here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/457381-solution-to-vertical-cloud-problem-in-p3d-v23-24/  (thanks Bob, I was just about to do that).

Others, be sure to thank the LM crew too, I was just trying to come up with solutions from what I had, LM crew stepped up to the plate to provide this 2.4 version matched quick fix.

Cheers, Rob.

I will try this tonight when I get home, as those spinning clouds sure removes the excitement... Thank you so much Rob (and the guys at LM).
