January 7, 201511 yr I can't imagine ever spending any hard-earned money on these "Soft Clouds". I guess I don't get it! Stan
January 7, 201511 yr They are good, not overwhelming, certainly not a graphics revolution. But, the create a better hazy effect and make a rising or setting sun look much more realistic. As some have posted, not bad for $11. Sherm They are good, not overwhelming, certainly not a graphics revolution. January 7, 201511 yr I enjoy these. As stated earlier, they look particularly good in FSX as you fly over them. I alternate between them and REX 4 clouds regularly.
January 7, 201511 yr A perfect combo with Rex4 Direct. Much better selection and loading interface... compare to previous Rex versions. Kin M. (Klax)
January 7, 201511 yr Ok so soft clouds replace ALL the REX 4 clouds or just the LOW clouds? Only low clouds - make sure you dont replace them wit hrex4 by unticking low level clouds in rex4 menu or you will over write them Rich Sennett
January 7, 201511 yr Only low clouds - make sure you dont replace them wit hrex4 by unticking low level clouds in rex4 menu or you will over write them So if I get the program I just leave REX alone and this program will sort it out?
January 7, 201511 yr Only low clouds - make sure you dont replace them wit hrex4 by unticking low level clouds in rex4 menu or you will over write them You sure about this in this thread in the rex forum when using rex4 and soft clouds you got to untick the low level cloud option http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32484-rex-soft-clouds-and-texture-direct-4-question/ I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

Then you can use Soft Clouds to your hearts content. This will make sure the clouds from REX4 will not overwrite your chosen material from Soft Clouds Rich Sennett

January 8, 201511 yr A quick question about this program. Do I need to install the textures everytime I use the SIM? I just opened the program again and the cloud set I picked last time was not selected when I opened the program this time. Does that matter?
January 8, 201511 yr No once you have selected and installed your textures, that's it you don't have to open up rex cloud unless you want to change your textures. If you go to where you have installed rex cloud and open up the installed log it will tell you if and what texture you have installed and at what time etc I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
