Hi Henrik, do you know if the routes for the Colorado river have been modified to comply with FTX Regions?

(as it is they are compliant for default FSX on my setup. And I may have missed a few updates..)

Launch is approaching - plan is still Thursday this week

 

The new "small" incremental pack contains:

• close to 80 new models
• new wakes for all ships - valid for both FSX and P3D but needed in P3Dv3.1 and above ; some of the older wakes have been updated and improved
• new routes including a large number of mostly European ferry routes and improved covereage in particular for the Baltic Sea; the North Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean from Italy to Turkey
• updates for the larger ships including changes to sim.cfg and mdl files to make them work properly in P3Dv3.1 and above with water at ultra setting

 

The total pack - which due to problems with upload speed might first be available early next week will include

• All ships and routes published so far including all published fixes and a few minor non published fixes - that is more than 600 ships and full global route coverage
• All the above updates and additions

 

Those who have everything installed and working fine should just download the new incremental pack ; those who have nothing installed all need to reinstall e.g. for P3Dv3.X should go for the total pack

All routes comply better with FTX or photosceneries than with default as they are done based on Google earth, however they are generally tested with both plus with the most popular payware scènes eg all Flytampa, Paulo Ricardo, and ORBX scènes plus the best freeware scènes e.g. Airports of Norway

No, just the ships and ferries slider and it only needs to be 10% or above

Downsides.... well, thinking about it... can the fact that it is "just" freeware be considered a downside...?

Traffic is in general a stutter fest so i am looking forward to test it

FPS effect is negligible if at all from my experience. I have the whole lot installed and working.

Will this be compatible with P3D v3.2 and up?

I sure can live with "only" Samsø Prinsen being available for now, I'm sure you'll make other danish vessels in the future (after all it doesn't hurt to be a little "local" you know :-) )

Has the new pack been uploaded yet, and when do you expect the full pack to be available?

hi - I am doing the upload of the new pack at the moment - I am currently in Brazil and we had a nice power shortage all morning including no internet, so plans were destroyed - so the global pack will be delayed until Monday. However, the novelties including wake fixes for P3Dv3 and also mdl and cfg fixes for a large number of older models should be available when the librarians approve the upload. Being in the jungle might also mean no support over the coming three days... But installation should be well described in the file. However, for those who has not installed anything yet - wait until next week and install the total pack instead of the incremental package uploaded today. For those who have everything installed - the simpler thing is just to add the pack upload today.
