I haven't yet figured out how to use the "MultiQuote", "Quote" and "Selective Quote" but to quote Kyle's post above;

"By the way "HGS heads up display" is like saying "ATM automatic teller machine."

Until I bought the PMDG 737NGX I had no clue as to what HGS was.  I had always heard of it as the HUD, or Head Up Display.  Rummaging around in the in the PMDG and Boeing manuals which accompanied my B737 finally squared me away.  Now I finally know what an HGS is.  It's really a HUD.

The ATM analogy I'll still have to work on a bit.

The Navy and the Marines still call it a HUD I believe.

Yep. Speaking of mil uses, they're all about redundancy. I get asked every day for my "CAC Card."

Common Access Card Card...

Why would there be changes in the flight dynamics?

Kyle, I'm sorry to arrive late to this. Looks a nice update, HOWEVER, here's my wish list and please can you forward this to the boss.

1. IAN can you make this an option instead of embedded? It's nice, but most NGs do not have this.

2. Various nav boxes (particularly the modern GLS capable ones. An option?

3. Single or twin ADF, most are single fit that I've flown.

4. The big one...PLEASE can you make it so when you set one side Minimums to required, then a quick selection of the overhead EFIS controller to both on that side and back to normal will transfer the data across. This saves a huge amount of wasted time setting mins if you fly to /from higher altitude airports. I've only just discovered the scrolling function works but VAN in Turkey is 5980ft up for example!

All good stuff though and very realisitc, (not that I use it for training, heaven forbid!). :-)

Kyle,

Would you mind sharing your ENB settings? (or tell where you got it?)...

Or is it proprietary information? :D

Best regards,

My hopes are that PMDG will rework the dynamics of NGX, bring that sort of immersion you get with the

777...And also make the plane a bit heavy on the feeling just like the 777 is to a certain degree.

It is a bit way to light....

Thanks,

Regis

I just wanted to know if there are any changes in the flight dynamics.... if this is not the case, this will be no problem for me because this bird is nearly perfect^^. Are you happy with the "Beta-Version"? I´m asking because if you and the other testers are happy with this SP, PMDG will release this SP for us^^....

Have a nice day,

So you want a 737 to feel like a...777? Not sure what you are aiming at.

With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

I don't think the NGX feels "light".

But I second the question from  maukro_1990.

Kyle, are you happy with the Beta?
