April 1, 201511 yr Hi jack really like to know how you got ASN to work with the latest hotfix applied, I get this message: I haven't installed yet, but I know that if you don't click the OK, set the message out of view somewhere, that ASN will give you weather if you select ASN Weather in the P3D Weather Dialog. I doesn't update, but it seems to work for local flights, or you can restart ASN and do the dialog dance again if you're in long flight and want new local weather. April 1, 201511 yr What are the improvements for you Richard? Adam first of you can use the start-up scenario screen - wet runways now seems a bit crisper terrain wise - haven't used it much as I am playing around with DSR on my new monitor my last one didn't make a difference but at first glance this 32" monitor seems to like it - sorry thats all I have for you now Rich Sennett
April 1, 201511 yr This is a nice update - anyone on the fence you should load this - much better - now if we can get better AA on aircraft externals and a tad sharper distant terrain it would be excellent Hey Rich, Can you elaborate on the above? Curious what differences/fixes you're seeing on your rig. Never mind...just saw your reply above!!
April 1, 201511 yr Does FSUIPC work with this Hot fix or do we need to wait for the Module to be updated. ??? I'm using version 4.939e Marty Baclawski

April 1, 201511 yr You're a few updates behind, it's on "i" now. And no, it crashes the sim Hmm I have not had any crashes with "I" I thought that was working with this latest patch - have to keep my ears open on this Rich Sennett
April 1, 201511 yr Hmm I have not had any crashes with "I" I thought that was working with this latest patch - have to keep my ears open on this I kept crashing with Ntd.dll as the culprit. Disabled it. No crash. David Graham Google, Network+, Cisco CSE, Cisco Unity Support Specialist, A+, CCNA
April 1, 201511 yr Commercial Member "Fixed an issue where AI aircraft would not correctly clear navigation settings. This would cause the AI to constantly overwrite control surface values being set by the user through SimConnect." That's incredibly interesting. A long while back I was coding a program that controlled AI inside FSX, getting them to do a wee bit more than follow flight plans (as in mil jets being able to execute adversary-like maneuvers), and I ran into issues like that. I wonder if that was a long standing FSX bug.. Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
April 1, 201511 yr FWITW 1. FSUIPC "e" still works (worked) for me with the latest 5 patch from LM and anyway Pete D stated on 28th March in forum that latest version available i.e. "I" , works for current "and imminent" P3D releases (and FSX SE for that matter) . . . edit - FWITW 2. just installed "I" and as it's dated before the 5 patch which I'd already installed, it did standard warn about P3D version being later. That said they're working fine together . . . Still no crashes since start of 2.5 - OOMs either, touch wood!. Use OpusFSI not ASN, ObjectFlow updated automatically yesterday. Nope, still no doom and gloom here . . .
April 1, 201511 yr Commercial Member You're a few updates behind, it's on "i" now. And no, it crashes the sim Er, where, how? I looked at it last night and as far as I can see so far it just needs an installer update, which will otherwise complain that it doesn't recognise the version. I'll be doing my usual more thorough check this afternoon, but I've been using 4.939i in P3D 12945 with no problems so far. Admittedly not an intense test yet .... April 1, 201511 yr Installed the new hotfix today together with the new FSUIPC 4.939i. All went well, only FSDT (GSX + Zürich) did not work (like before the addon manager did not show under Add-ons). So I downloaded the FSDT addonmanagerX, installed it and voila, all works as it should (FSC, EFB, FSGRW as well as MJCQ4, PMDP 737). Have not noted any issue yet (neither positive or negative) but will keep on testing. Jürgen Martens, DK7HN

Admittedly not an intense test yet .... Okay, checks completed. There's no difference for FSUIPC4.DLL between 12944 and 12945. I only need to make the installer recognise the new version number. That'll be in FSUIPC 4.939j which I'll release when I've checked it with the upcoming revised FSX-SE beta. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz.
