LM will decide when and if they want to share information, those of us under NDAs will share only what we're allowed to share and/or have been given the ok to share ... hence why we signed the NDA.

 

This thread was NOT started by anyone on the Beta team nor LM.

 

If you don't like this thread, best thing to do is unsubscribe ... I'm NOT going to close down a thread just because people don't want to see it and/or because it's off topic or speculation ... if I did that, I would have to shut down many threads on AVSIM.

 

If you want to get reliable information then I'd suggest you check the following:

1.  LM's web site / forums

2.  AVSIM front page (if there is official news it will most likely hit a front page article)

3.  Thread started by someone on the Beta team who has been given the OK to share info

4.  Other official sources

 

As with anything on the internet cross check sources and make your own decision on quality/content.

Let's recap, shall we?

 

1 - Pete Dowson lets slip the possibility of a v3 in an obscure reference to said product in a log file.

2 - Rob Ainscough lets slip, well nothing other than a promise that v3 will have changes.

3 - Everyone else let slip total sanity and rambled onward regarding absolutely anything and everything.

 

Based on the above facts, I believe v3 will have flyable reindeer.

Forget P3D. When will we get P4D? I want to be able to feel the g-forces at the comfort of my own home and getting blinded by strobe lights.

For me, I am enjoying this thread and its craziness.

SlowFlyer has my vote. My prediction that the new version will be released not before then and maybe afterwards, and will disappoint those still with Windows 98!

I believe that there will be new photo scenery of Atlantis that can be explored by submarine, an 'aircraft' sadly lacking in purpose so far. A new mission will be a search for the Holy Grail!
