What strikes me is that anyone who's been "legally blind since birth" has managed to do so well in what is after all a highly complex graphic environment! That's simply amazing! :Applause:

It breaks my heart to think that Beau has never seen the fruits of his labor  .  This guy is awesome!

Well, he's not totally blind. As odd as it might sound, there are a few who're "legally blind" that nonetheless have a driver's license. There are many grades of "legal blindness." We just don't know where on that spectrum Beau lies.

Indeed.  Years ago I had a friend who was also "legally blind".  Yes, he had some very severe vision issues but he could still see with significant visual functionality.  He had a driver's license (though he had to undergo special testing on a regular basis to keep it) and when I took him up in my plane and allowed him to take the controls, he was quite able to maintain heading and altitude and to fly to things he wanted to see - and loved being up in a plane, sight-seeing over the Rockies.

None of which takes anything away from Mr. Hollis, of course, who is clearly a VERY impressive individual.  To the OP - great link!  Thanks for sharing.
