November 27, 201510 yr The following programmes are in use here: Aivlasoft EFB FS Tramp FS Commander My clear favourite is FS Commander because of its many features (especially the flight planner), its ease of use and also because of the moving map. FS Tramp is the newest and I tend to use it also quite often since it loads automatically with my P3Dv3 and easily opened with a key-combination. EFB is hardly used anymore. Jürgen Martens, DK7HN
November 27, 201510 yr but rumor has it the EFB V2 will have many of them. Dave Does the current EFB work in P3dv3?
November 27, 201510 yr Commercial Member The best one I have come across is built in the freeware program SimLauncher. I've always wanted to see if it will work on a networked PC but always forget to try. November 27, 201510 yr I am using it with V3 Hi Richie Was the installation an issue? Did you use the migration tool?
November 27, 201510 yr The best one I have come across is built in the freeware program SimLauncher. I've always wanted to see if it will work on a networked PC but always forget to try. It does. I have it installed networked. It contains indeed a pretty good and moreover highly configurable moving map. November 27, 201510 yr Commercial Member Dave Does the current EFB work in P3dv3? I believe it's already been answered, but yes sir, it does work with P3D V3. You MAY have to direct the install to the proper location, as I don't recall whether the installer has been updated yet. Maybe someone here knows. Happy flying! November 28, 201510 yr even on ProATC forum there is a guy trying to find how to convert fscommander plans to proatc, cause he prefers fscommander as moving map. I can't remember this kind of question asked (I'm one of the forum moderators). You would just copy/paste the route string from FSCommander to ProATC. Hope this helps! ---- Not quite sure which of these are v3 compatible, but here is my list of moving maps I use (in order of preference): EFB FS Flight Keeper FSCommander (ProATC has a nice moving map, but haven't listed it here as it doesn't work if ProATC isn't controlling your flight) Jarkko Puustinen (FSX live streamer, YouTuber) http://www.twitch.tv/virtualfreightdog http://www.youtube.com/user/VirtualFreightDog
November 28, 201510 yr Really? I have ASN and I wasn't aware of this. How do you activate the moving map? If you open up asn you should see your plane in the middle of the map and it should show other aircraft around you. If you want a flight plan included you need to build a flight plan within asn or just use the import option( use the auto load option in the general section of asn settings) and it will show you your flight plan I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
November 28, 201510 yr I had FSWidgets Gmap but i think i was using it for X-Plane, i just clicked the link there and says it supports P3D as well which is fantastic as it gives a real fluid feel map, you can zoom in and out really easy. This is for Ipad and windows yes? I do remember being very impressed with how it looked and felt when operating it
