January 28, 201610 yr well, I might buy it but at CAD$115 or there about's I'll be waiting to see some in depth close up videos first and I'll have to be drooling!
January 28, 201610 yr Is it really complex to fly? I remember the Project Mach 2 Concorde I used some years ago, this was a nice rendition with a good balance between realism and easy-to-fly. For example those CG calculations and all the things to be considered in flight by pumping fuel from one tank in the other. Can this all be handled by virtual copilot and engineer in the FSLabs Concorde? Or do we have to do this manually? Because if yes, this would not be a product suitable for me, but if no, might be worth a second look... Yes, a Virtual Engineer is included, who will control all of the engineer's systems - leaving you to simply fly the aircraft. There is also a very good tutorial included, that will guide you step-by-step through a flight from London to New York. Andrew Wilson

January 28, 201610 yr I must say I am actually tempted to get this, even though I've never really been the Concorde-type. I think I'll wait to see if any good vids show up. Besides that, it seems my P3D is suffering from an occasional ntdll.dll issue so maybe I should wait.. Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
January 28, 201610 yr I'm holding off to see some actual reviews and videos as the price is pretty steep for and old product ported over to P3D. Soon the cheapest thing you can buy will be the actual simulator. I figure in 5 years time sim craft will cost over $100 each. Sean Green

January 28, 201610 yr Commercial Member ...the price is pretty steep for and old product ported over to P3D. Hi Sean - The process of porting over Concorde-X into P3D was a huge task, which required significant rework of the flight performance model, autoflight systems and underlying infrastructure to support the new platform and insure the continuation of that support for the foreseeable future. Unlike a conventional airliner - the extreme flight envelopes that Concorde operates within made this process even more tedious. Concorde-X is indeed entering it's sixth year on the market - and this latest upgrade, in which we have retrofitted some of the latest technologies written for our A320 series into our Concorde-X title, will ensure that people can continue to enjoy flying Concorde on the latest Flight Simulator platforms for years to come. January 28, 201610 yr I havent had a chance to try the Concorde x for p3d for any more than an hour or so. I have used the fsx Version for several years and have pretty extensive experience With that Product. Right off the bat I can say that the high quality textures in p3d VC is a pretty significant Upgrade over the highest quality in fsx. The gauges are extremely crisp and Sharp. I havent even tried With the New fsl spotlights package yet, but it still takes my breath away. I also notice that the autothtottle system has had a significant Upgrade to its Logic. Where as before the speed would continue to reduce With more than 10 knots Beyond my target speed when on apprach, the engines now start to spool up and slow the rate of speed reduction significantly already With 10 knots remaining till target speed (ie. going from 190 kts vapp to 160 vref the engines start to spool up at 170 kts and Catch the target speed of 160 just fine). As I said, I havent had the chance yet to try her out properly, but so far there are some changes that are warmly welcomed. It IS a steep price to pay for the p3d Version, especially if you already paid for the fsx Version like many of us did, but I dont mind it since we all know that the p3d AddOns always cost a bit more than the fsx Versions, and it wasnt a simple "port over". It was real work that had to be done. Edit: sorry for the wonky capitalization. I'm writing on English on my Norwegian work pc, and it autocorrects the hell out of my text... :( Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78

Nice to hear, I was on the Beta team but only tested in FSX-SE. After seeing some of the screenshots and hearing comments like yours I am seriously considering getting P3D to experience this improvement. And yes you are correct on the throttle and general autopilot logic, huge improvements over the original. Mark CYYZ
January 28, 201610 yr One small point that I noticed in the video is that the nose wheel didn't turn when the aircraft turned on the ground. Is this true of the P3D version? It's a minor point, but it does affect realism. January 28, 201610 yr Moderator Thanks for posting my video Ray. I was just about to do that. Every time I watch it Mark your flying skills impress me. All that plus doing the job of the co-pilot and FE too! You could have got a job at BA! One small point that I noticed in the video is that the nose wheel didn't turn when the aircraft turned on the ground. Is this true of the P3D version?
