FSLabs Concorde Released

I bought the Concorde in 2105 for FSX and found the VC a bit outdated, although the systems are of course impressive. However, if I am supposed to buy a product again in 2016 at a premium price, I expect a VC that lives up to 2016 standards.

If you have purchased the Concorde-X for FSX in the past 365 days and have also bought the eSellerate download protection, you can use the eSellerate support link to visit their web site - use the email you used to purchase and your order number - then, the FSX download should be of the new v1.3 installer!

Good advice. Done precisely that and I only have the boxed version. And after accepting the usual .DLL permissions, it has installed in FSX-SE flawlessly. Not tried it as yet.

well, I might buy it but at CAD$115 or there about's I'll be waiting to see some in depth close up videos first and I'll have to be drooling! :Tounge:

Agreed this is a huge problem....I am dreading the release of the PMDG 747 V2 because of the exchange rate.

I fine it interesting that its the same price as the fsx version, when asked about the Air bus they have said there charging more for the P3D. But have not for the Concord?

Hi David,

That is correct. Due to the different licensing that P3D carries and because it can be used for real world training, there are several logistics issues to be carried out, as we've been advised that we'll need to carry insurance (which gets very expensive, very fast) - as in case of any real-world accident, lawsuits tend to be directed to any vulnerable parties. This will require us to carry a different pricing scheme for any P3D add-on products that we make available in the future.

Obviously, Concorde-X is omitted from this as the real aircraft was retired in 2003.

Can't wait to see some regular user videos with the new patch. Still on the fence myself.

So FSX user can have this update for 4 Euro - am I correct ?

Artur

Just installed it in FSX-SE. It shows up in the list of aircraft loaded. So far so good.

Then as per always, started off with the default Trike, engines running. Switched to a larger airport(UK2000's EGCC) with the default Trike, again engines running. Then tried to change to the Concorde----the sim just hangs, as that little blue circle just goes on twirling round and round and been like that for over 15 minutes. Had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to shut down the sim.

Has anyone else installed this in Steam, and managed to get it to display correctly?

Hi Rick,

Could I ask you to post on our support forum at FSLabs. We'll be able to offer more assistance there and get you running.

Hi Andrew,

I have to say that's a very interesting reply. I very much look forward to your Air Bus P3D version.

Don't take this the wrong way but it was funny that you don't need to charge more because Concord is not flying anymore

I think that is correct.

Correction:  It is $4.99 USD.  Just click on the redownload link for expired download service near the bottom of the purchase page.

Try it again.  I had this happen as well (on Steam) when I first installed and then I tried again and it loaded properly.  Your startup procedure of starting with the Trike is correct although I have not moved it to another airport before loading Concorde.
