So how is it, i downloaded it but im still not sure about purchasing it.OHN

Can someone please explain this product to me? The few shots I have looked at were qualified with "used in conjuction" etc but ALONE what does this add-on provide exactly? Buildings and the like? I have UT but have other add-on too so how does it work with say Mega Sceneries?[h4]Randy J. It changes the Standard MS Textures and Auto-Gen (if you wish)...it will not change existing add-on sceneries according to their website information.AND REMEMBER...THIS WILL ONLY CHANGE TEXTURES FOR THE SUMMER SEASON IN THE US AND CANADA (ONLY)!!! > Can someone please explain this product to me? What's up Randy!Just look at BEV as a "FScene" on steroids. It replaces the textures that are called up by your landclass files with MUCH more realistic textures, colors etc. Buy what I have seen, it doesn't mess with photo scenery. It does replace the autogen objects that are called up.I've been waiting on this for some time and I have to say I'm very impressed. It really does look MUCH more realistic.PSGreat job on the 747!!! Love it!!

Why did they release summer textures in the middle of Fall? I don't get that. I'll pass until the Fall textures come out.ricardo

I just tested it out. I'm happy with what I got for 12 bucks. The textures are much more realistic IMO. There is a nice little config tool as well. I think the city textures are a huge improvement over the default. So far I've only gone out to the US Southwest (Arizona, Nevada) and then to the midwest (Oklahoma), and it's quite an improvement over the defaults in all areas. I think BEV was successful in "bringing it one step closer..." You know the cliche.Jeff

The installer defaults to C:Program Files. What's up with that? Also, I've never seen a Flight1 product that extracted by default to other than the C:Flight One Software folder. Do we have to point the installer to the FS9 folder? If so, why can't it locate it from the Registry to begin with. There is NO WAY i'm going to turn this thing loose on my FS9 folder without knowing what it's doing. Upset? You bet? End of rant...Doug

I will. But how about this one also. It looks like the installer is also installing NET Framework 1.1 with no option to kill that part of the install. Buyer beware if this if the case.Doug
