Can't achieve the smooth as silk sensation.

 

One reason is not on my SSD anymore...I don't even think there is such thing as "smooth as silk" in P3D although many claim it is possible.

 

 

I see them at KATL, wonder at how many airports this feature has been implemented.

 

All default/gateway airports should have them, so long as there's actual parking spots for them to use.

 

There might be a few defining rules that we don't know about yet that might prevent existing parking spots from being used by static AI in certain situations, or there could well be glitches in how they automatically applied this feature to existing gateway airports (and that's assuming that they even have applied the changes to all gateway airports, perhaps at this point it's only a few big ones being hand edited for the first beta).

 

Hard to really judge until we get to see the new version of WED. That's the whole part of this that I'm excited for. :smile:

Do you guys see taxiway lines? Like centerlines, edge lines, hold short lines? I can´t see any...

I was getting stuck on the loading screed, but ctrl-alt-delete to the Laminar Graphic screen and it was showing which plugin failed, so I removed 3 plugins and it started. Going to have to research what they were, I know one was Jar's Ground Handling Program. I also have some LUA error on screen now.

Obviously my installer (I think still from the DVD) was too old. Got a recent installer from X-Plane.com doing its work now.

 

Just in case someone else runs into this.

FYI:

 

I had 2 plugins that caused XP10.50b1 to crash. They were:

 

GndHandling

SeaTraffic.

 

Now it works ok.

I was also getting the instant crash.  Found out it was jardesign groundhandling plugin and Seatraffic plugin. Once removed, it seems to work fine.

I guess they will have to patch their product to 10.5 at some point.

RTH  does not crash, but does not work either.

 

I have to test more, but I'm going to roll back to 10.45.  Too many key addons are not working on 10.5 for me.

All are displayed on mine from what I've seen so far.

Be aware, Sea Traffic caused XP to crash immediately after launch, once removed, all good.

 

Anybody with a message on right side of screen "Internet output disabled"?

I was getting instant crash as well, removed AutoGate and PilotEdge and all is well.  One of those two (or both) causes a crash.
