Not long now boys (and girls)...

  • Will there be an Aerofly FS 2 version ?

  • I think they want a stable platform. Nothing could be more code stable than FSX Acceleration ( boxed ) , or at most FSX:SE...    I can't even imagine the complexity going behind the scenes to implem

Will this be user friendly for us yoke & throttle users - if anyone knows that would be great as I dislike the aerosoft version - always a pia to setup the throttles on it

Asking price for this bird is very fair if its like a PMDG - hope it looks as good as the Aerosoft on the outside - presently from what I have seen it doesnt

Also is there a  good Paint kit  ? anyone please - throw me a bone here lol

I've found the throttles much easier to set up than another Airbus simulation. And there is a paint kit...how good it is I couldn't say, as I'm not a painter. In the hands of capable folks, it's produced some beautiful liveries.

I wonder how many early adopters they will allow. My guess is 1000.

I'm still trying to figure out if I need throttles or is the keyboard still an option ?

The pricing I am not understanding. It would be nice if they made it clear how the upgrade price works. If I buy the FSX version, will I only pay the difference once the P3D version comes out? Or will I have to pay more for both?

Do yourself a big favour and make sure its clear before you put down your money.  I agree it is very unclear.

I posted this question on the FSL Forums and Lefteris responded by stating that if the purchase the FSX version and then upgrade to the P3D version you would only pay the price difference (no penalty).  It is however, unclear if that will give you both licenses.

Just buy a cheap joystick on Amazon for about €20 with throttle/rudder control on it. Problem solved.

People that ask this question about addon aircraft amaze me. Why would you pay big money for an addon aircraft, especially something with deep simulation like this, and then attempt to fly it with a keyboard? At the very least, get yourself a cheap joystick. It doesn't need to be top of the range.

Best regards,

Just got mine!! On a work trip can't wait to install tomorrow...

Hi Neal,

Just in case, a guy on the Fslabs forum says it was disabled, he could not fly with a stick. Hopefully for him, yes it's possible to drive the bird with keyboard.
