November 5, 20169 yr Installing global HD textures for all airports including those you never fly to must really be the best medicine you can get in this VAS sensitive platform we all use
November 5, 20169 yr Installing global HD textures for all airports including those you never fly to must really be the best medicine you can get in this VAS sensitive platform we all use  Zinertek products didnt increase VAS even by 20 MB. As here we have something more complex, I'm still sure they tested it to make sure impact is not large. In the end, we forgive ORBX for FTX Vector which can kill up to 900 MB of VAS But customer service is simply not acceptable - the servers are a joke and fact that it's not even possible to access their ticket system is really bad for their PR. November 5, 20169 yr Hi, Rex released WW Airport textures for default airports. They advertise: Experience airports in TRUE high definition... What is TRUE HD? As far as I know....1080p I have searched high and low (web site, manual, etc) but couldn't find any info about the texture resolutions. Does anyone know what it is? Their application has HD and SD setting: SD = 1024x1024 px? HD = 2048x2048 px? I'm only interested if HD is not 4096 because of increased VAS usage. EDIT: One more question.... The default P3D airport texture resolution, is that 512 or 1024 px? From the other thread the REX guys said it would be user selectable like in TD. In other words you will be able to choose resolution from a selection. My guess would be 512, 1024, 2048 or 4096 just like clouds. November 5, 20169 yr Installing global HD textures for all airports including those you never fly to must really be the best medicine you can get in this VAS sensitive platform we all use  Well, many people seem intent on loading 4096 resolution clouds and such.....why stop there? To be fair, there is a choice for what resolution textures you use, just like in their other products. Or at least that's what they said on the announcement thread. November 5, 20169 yr Can someone who has installed it clarify whether you can 'customize" just 1 airport, or does it put the customization chosen across all default airports?? For instance, if I want to put a small hangar on one selected default airport will it do that? Thanks

Thanks Still trying to download it but it will not do that at this price but if you can place an airline name on a hanger than maybe it does to some degree as seen on screenshots so not sure now Rich Sennett
