Weird. I downloaded the 1.04 version and installed it into XP11. When I go in game the about menu still says 1.0 and there are no options present for XP11 fog.

My serial is valid when I check xEnviro about menu. No popup for activation shows.

Wasn't sure about this after researching: if I buy this for the $70, can I use it on both my desktop and my laptop pc when traveling?

 

If so, I may just take the plunge. Just wasn't sure about their activation/drm scheme.

I know you can install it on both XP10 and 11 on the same machine but don't know about on different computers?

Anyone notice cloud scapes now are different clouds are of the puffy variety now - not a fan looks more like SMP a bit 

 

Not those great looking 2d scapes they looked so real - up in the air on this new update - well see have to play with it more

Anybody noticed striped water textures at low altitude.. Did not notice this before... Can anybody confirm how their water textures look at say 500 ft...

Water textures are still a mess and also noticed more sky banding with or with out temp flylua script fix - guess we really need Laminar to address environmental issues - really like XP11 but the sky lighting  -  weird cloud colors at night and all this banding is a mess

We never had sky banding in XP10. It's a safe bet that we won't have it in XP11 when it goes final.

Thank you  Thank you  Thank you  thats awesome news for sure - just surprised that something as basic as the sky would be like this even in a beta must have something to do with the PBR system I guess

Here is where people may get into problems: if you purchase an addon for a beta you never know where the fault lies when something goes wrong. Is it the addon? Is it the beta? Is it the beta update or the addon update? After the most recent beta update the banding (and shadows) look a lot worse on my PC. I don't have any addons (apart from airports) so the problem is the beta. Easy. Purspchasing NEW addons for a beta is simply asking for trouble. And what if the final version of XP11 changes something I such a way that X-Enviro cannot do specific things anymore? I will wait with buying addons, specially expensive ones as this one, until everything is out of beta.
