X-Plane 11 Beta 5 is out

Featured Replies

I tried Beta 5, but I don't see any change in the effect of propeller on yaw.

I don't either :fool:.

Bummer, I can't see the change, too.

The S-76 feels different. A little bit nervous.

Thx!  No-Go for me then :-)  - Have them perfect in ELITE, DCS and IL.2 :-)

Joking, of course, I am really curious to read about the effects of the FDM updates, which may look promising from reading the developers Blog...

Have no brakes in any plane - parking or toe - with  5 update went back to previous version with my folder copy and brakes ok !!

anyone else have this problem.

I load my planes cold and dark at gate and they never stop moving.

I find some performance increase, no other issues except don't like the S-76 handling ,

Same here Denis,

The only brake I have is my programmed button on the  yoke, no B or V brake from keyboard.  Bug report time today.

I went back to sp3 and I'd like to know if anyone knows how to permanently disable the prompt for a new update. I unchecked the settings box, but I still get the prompt.

While we are at it, if anyone knows how to disable the exit prompt, please share. TKS.

I went back to sp3

Good move!  Framerates have really tanked with this one (pb5) and not much improvement otherwise.  I have not been able to adjust the field of view (and have it stick) for several betas now and don't like flying with my knees under the panel.  Bug report filed.

The exit prompt is in one of the options at the top of the screen, but I'll have to get back to you on that one.  Edit - Can't find it in XP-11... Thinking XP-10 I guess.

Did you have a crash right at about 'finishing pre load', on the first run of B5? Just curious.

I did...didn't have that from B1 to B3.  After the first failed, CTD, I didn't have one after that. Weird.  I sense no 'improvement' in anything. Perhaps I am not looking for the differences in the right place...dunno...

You shouldn't ...if you un-check that box...I did, and had no prompts of either B4, or the replaced B5.  Only found out by coming into the forum...it should work.

It comes up and the prompt even flashes briefly when you exit. The only thing I have not done is restart my computer.
