I'll drink to that my friend.  I'm always up for new places, and to be honest, this airport makes for a great layover airport from the Rockies to the west coast.  There is a pretty decent KASE and KTVL that's available at the Org to make for a nice circuit.

Everyone who has enjoyed his freeware should buy this as a thanks. Good to see that he is finally going to get paid for his outstanding work.

Well I happily purchased this airport.  The amount of detail and texturing he puts into his work is just awesome.  Of course, I had to purchase the new Aerobask Eclipse too...compliments the airport nicely.

Jaw Dropping quality. I never dreamed Simulation would ever get this far.  The shots of the airport + the distant lights and buildings is beautiful. Thanks MisterX6!

I would buy this except I don't think my video card vram can cope with Ortho scenery I'm using and his amazing textures, and my payware Eclipse lol

Happy to see MisterX releasing payware. The guy deserves it and although I'm not really interested in the area itself, he has my support and I'll pick this up to show my appreciation of all the amazing freeware he's done.

After downloading and installing this last night, I moved around the airport to check out all the detail, and I have to say, this is probably his best work yet.  The ortho imagery he used was pretty good, but what really shines is the little details he placed, with accurate signage at the main terminal, better looking trees (compared to default), a working tram, tons of cars in the parking areas,  I never realized how big KSLC was, but it's a great airport to fly out out of, with very picturesque scenery all around.  My framerates were pretty on par with normal, and since I first loaded the default C172, frames were above average, and with the Eclipse, they were average (but I may have loaded the 4k textured version at that time).

All in all, this airport should do nicely and I am happy that MisterX6 (Justin) is branching out with payware, because he definitely deserves to be rewarded in a proper way for his efforts.

Is this 'pulling' at the FPS, Jimm?

If you're asking whether the Eclipse at KSLC is creating a load on the sim, it's slightly better than the Panthera.  KSLC's performance is really no different than Justin's other airports, in terms of load, but for the Aerobask aircraft, you will see a dip in the frames though I am holding out hope that further optimization of XP will bring the frames back up.

Definitely will purchase KSLC being as it looks amazing and to support Mister X being that he has given so much to the community!  I am very much looking forward to his future airport releases and am hoping to see KLAS with all of the casino's on Las Vegas Blvd and Freemont St. being as I am not happy with the current payware offerings.

“We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the day and night to visit violence on those who would do us harm”.

The only problem  with the Mister X airports is that they make all the others look weak by comparison.
