September 30, 20178 yr I'm looking at adding Aerosoft's Frankfurt professional to P3Dv4. Anyone who owns it that can give an honest opinion about it? I'm on the fence. - Aaron
September 30, 20178 yr Commercial Member I own it, and had the non-professional one. I like it, but I don't use AI Traffic as I only fly on VATSIM so I can't tell you how that works. I have also only been to the airport two or three times, and it's either pull away from the gate or into one, I don't do too much other than look at the eye candy. Best wishes. September 30, 20178 yr Gives me slightly better fps than the v2 version. Great looking airport with very nice city skyline next to it. I use it icw Nico Kaan's Live Traffic which makes it very realistic. regards, Gerard V2 : taxiën towards the gate 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I also have EDDF and have no issues with it. I'm in and out of EDDF a lot, mostly at night and always on the freight side. blaustern I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
September 30, 20178 yr I would not want to fly without it. Flying in the landing queue at final is a wonderfull experience, knowing that those aircraft are really there at that moment ... At this moment I am beta testing. September 30, 20178 yr Author Sounds promising amidst a lot of folks who have a lack of love for aerosoft in general. I also have the new Stuttgart and am frankly underwhelmed with it so I was hesitant about this one. - Aaron
September 30, 20178 yr Underwhelming is the right word, in my opinion. It's fine, no better and no worse. It certainly won't impress you the way, say, Flightbeam or even recent Taxi2Gate airports do. I'm really not trying to be unfair here. It's not a bad airport on the whole! But it doesn't use any innovative techniques (at least not that I've noticed) and it does lack a certain flair. There's no "wow" moment. James

Taxi2Gate just released an update to EDDM, perhaps that is a better choice... I do like their Paris. - Aaron
September 30, 20178 yr Can someone explain me what the Professional has that non-professional doesn't. Is this some new line of products by Aerosoft - Professional line? and is this product made exclusively by Aerosoft or they contracted to some third party devs? How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)

October 1, 20178 yr I was round a mates house and I thought it was very good. The approach looked stunning, fps was very good. MT6 looked great. Did not see any glitches. Very good. A great airport.
