New MS Flight Sim shown at E3

Really? no belated April fool hoax  ?  Well, we live in crazy times and Microsoft is always good for a surprise.

For me - just me own opinion - there is still no worthier sucessor of the venerable FSX after its closure on the market (regarding civilian sims).  It would be awesome and funny at the same time - MS would compete directly against Lockheed Martin, LoL.

It says "captured in 4K" at the start which puts one in the frame of mind of it being in-game footage, but it looks to have quite a few renders and I believe quite a bit of the footage is enhanced too. Any thoughts on that?

Appears to be XBox only which is fine with me. The PC platform is half dead anyway. It's also unclear from the video whether much of the game is online rather than on the local console hard drive.

I thought MS was permanently withdrawing from the flight simulation market when they sold the rights to Lockheed. Whats going on???

That might explain why Aerosoft has been so busy with special projects....btw, it looks like Orbx is there too!

Finally flight simulators will move forward since 2006

In the live stream they said PC + XBOX

I think (I may be wrong), but MS sold rights to ESP (so for the engine). What we can see on trailer, this is definitely a new engine 😉

As posted before it is confirmed for PC and console. And judging by the pictures, it does look hopeful but usually trailers are “spiced” up and the in game play is not as beefed up with the visuals. Now let’s not forget as a community that Microsoft did pull the rug out from underneath us many moons ago leaving us high and dry. It is nice to see their return, but let’s not act like they’re our friends just yet. In all honesty they’re probably just here to make a few bucks and maybe cut into some of the P3Dv5 profits before vanishing again. Like I said just keep all of that in mind 🙃

Well, here we go again....

I'll buy my 2nd Flightsim PC in 2020...

MS FLIGHT made me buy the one I still have, running ELITE mostly these days, and sometimes a bit of IL-2 ...

If this uses the latest CPU and GPU to the max and we can still use 3rd party add ons, this has potential to blow everything out of the water.

That's definitely not gonna happen.

[MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

If it's in typical MS fashion it'll be 10 yrs before you could even buy parts to build a computer to run it.

We don't know any details yet, so anything is possible.

I just want to know where I can get more info about the game.
