whats your first payware A/C?

I agree re pmdg. I can see ms making them poster boys/ girls of the new sim in terms of complex aircraft and quality add-one.

Probably nothing at all. I have no more interest in studying 100's of pages of manuals to follow a magenta line, nor in replacing virtual spark plugs or propellers. And all of that while sacrificing FPS. So far the default aircrafts look good enough for me, apparently also with regard to flight model. I will be just simulating flight, i.e. looking at the scenery below and at the weather above.

Agreed.

While I like the depth of A2A aircraft, they don't make many aircraft I want to fly.  If I buy other payware, it will be to get a specific aircraft I want to fly rather than one with more bells and whistles.  Like a DC-3 or a Beaver, neither of which I expect to be included in the default aircraft.

So I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to learn that big-name and indie studios alike are already working with MS to have content ready at or soon after release.

Notable devs have been AWFULLY quiet despite ongoing revelations. I mean, PMDG has NOTHING to say about the stuff we've been seeing recently?

I've been saying that all along, and for the same reasons.  Maybe our good friends at Aerosoft will have a new version of their excellent BeaverX... BeaverXX anyone? 😄

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I want a shiney new yellow Cessna 195 decked out with the latest 1947 avionics

At the top of my list is a A350.

Baytower RV7 if we can get Danny to come out of retirement 🙂

I would buy that day 1

FS98 Classic Airliners Box Collection (Black)

I had no idea payware existed until I bought that.  I was so happy.  I'd been flying default FS98 for 6 months quite happily.  It was a new world after that.

Leo's Maddog. Or the 747-8...  Maybe the 737.... Nah, the A2A Connie.... Maybe the DA-62... Or if we're lucky Eaglesoft will finally release a new bizjet.

I won't be able to decide, but I have a strong suspicion that I'm gonna spend a *lot* of money when payware is available for this thing. 😉

Wonder how long before the G5000 finds its way into the sim. 😉

Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

PMDG 737. Unless it’ll be included as basic aircraft already in MSFS2020 😉

i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

A2A/Aerosoft/Milviz Beaver with full bush equipment.

BTW, I sincerely doubt that the default MSFS aircraft will be high fidelity. I'll be very happy to be proven wrong.
