No Demo, very suggestive short trailer videos (with other irrelevant expensive add-ons thrown in in order to distract you), surround yourself with forum busters who chime in with "works perfectly on my side" every time someone questions anything

Now watch people finally realize why couatl is needed, as it's the safer approach, once they begin to experience mysterious early flight terminations.

Well, in GSX I most certainly don't for airports I am familiar with.

My experience is that GSX follow me is a bit of a lottery. When the car arrives it may or may not have some idea of where it is going. Most times it goes off in the opposite direction and then when you turn to follow it. it turns under you and zooms off out of sight.

I prefer to go to the nearest terminal and then see what the gate number is and the request that.

No, you must land, because it cannot possibly know your actual position ( you might land long, short, badly, on a different runway, etc...) until you land.

The waiting time also depends on the airport and how well the AFCAD is made, since the FollowMe will start from a parking of the "vehicle" kind so, if they are realistically and well spread around, the waiting time won't be very long.

As a test, I tried asking for a Follow Me at our own KORD V2, soon after landing on 28R and taxied near the intersection between N and SS, selected C4 for parking and called the FollowMe there, it took 55 seconds to arrive.

I find that at Manchester where there appears to be a one-way system around gates 41-44 and the follow-me will take you around the long way. Hence why I choose my own route.

As @virtuali is reading this topic it would be helpful if GSX could keep my chosen gate clear of Ai when I’ve selected it below 10,000ft. I usually use Traffic Zapper to remove them but if there’s anything GSX can do to keep it clear that would be helpful.

I'd like add a few places for the fuel trucks to spawn at T2G KMCO Orlando. I swear the fuel trucks are starting off from somewhere near Kissimmee... Takes them forever to get to the gates.

I know the catering vehicle spawn at a vehicle parking spot.... I had a look at the Imaginesim KATL AF file after waiting a very long time for catering and added a few more parking spots and it worked.

Ah, I see what you mean. I just don't consider a product that I paid for a gift. Not that I don't enjoy it, quite opposite infarct. I couldn't imagine my ground ops without it.

From the "fuel" type parking spots ( light blue in ADE, opposite to the vehicle, which are pink ). But, of course, there's a priority system: if there's no Fuel parking spot, the fuel truck will spawn from a vehicle parking spot, and if that's one is not available either, it will spawn from a random regular parking.
