Yes, if you spend $30,000 on your flight sim set up it is not surprising that you're having a more enjoyable experience with Prepar3d than the rest of us.

I didn't expend even 1,500 usd and I had a very nice flight last night. Just because you are not enjoying your simulation it doesn't mean everyone else is on the same page as you. Most people in these forums are actually very happy with P3D and personally I am very grateful that P3D developers continue improving the platform all the time, listen to end users requests, developers requests and even show their faces in popular flight sim shows. You cannot say the same from many other simulators developers currently available in the market. Ridiculous comment.. Over the years I have spent a few hundred dollars, not including aircraft. For the thousands of hours of enjoyment, it is very cheap entertainment.

That's pretty straight forward logic.
November 3, 20196 yr I’ve never felt the need to “retire” from any of my games/sims. I may over time play them less but never picked a point in time to be done. I’m rather surprised by the posts here that P3D is boring, or stagnant or whatever. Remember a few short years ago when we had a sim with no dynamic lighting, no PBR, had frequent out of memory errors, etc etc? P3D has come so far in the past few years, I feel like we’re in a golden era of flight simming that will only get better with MSFS next year. But until then, I’ll keep happily playing P3D (and occasionally XP11) and appreciating just how good this little hobby of ours is right now. No one need to spend $30k to enjoy the hobby. Sure that could build a heck of a rig (that’s home cockpit territory) but it’s not necessary to have fun. I’ve probably got $5k tied up in hardware, and a few more thousands in addons accumulated over many years, and I have never been happier with my simming experience. I’m fortunate to have been able to put that money into it, however when my hardware totals were in the hundreds of dollars rather than thousands I still had an incredibly fun experience. If he feels that way, that's how he feels. If he decides that it's worthy of saying it to broader audience, that's his right too. If we don't agree with him, we should just move on cause otherwise we're trapped where he expects us to be (to argue with him). This thread is meant for those, who never had it or who lost it. Arguing over personal feelings is never productive. So, for the rest of us enjoying the sim, "Having more fun than ever" is a thread to be. I would have punch the thumps down to show I disagree as I do with the up vote or like when I agree. That's all. 😁 This is a good thread cause I like to hear what other simmers are up to. Not so long ago such things were being said about FSX, and prior to that, FS9. Many Flight simmers appear to have a need to always be chasing the next great thing to the point that they no longer appear capable of enjoying what they have right now (which they were praising as state-of-the-art only the day before yesterday). It's easy to forget how far things have come. Perhaps anyone who thinks P3D is boring or stagnant would benefit from spending some time watching videos of FS98 in action...
