Featured Replies

I need tips on finding realistic aircrafts for FS2004. I wanted to know which is the most realistic B737NG, B747-400, B757, B777, B787, A320, A330, A340 and A380 available for FS2004.

It can be freeware or payware.

go for Tu154M from Project Tupolev - best plane for FS2004

Artur

edu2703,

I very highly recommend iFly 737 and 747  and the Eaglesoft Citation II extreme. Les impressive, but still good are the Been Felt Up There (oops ... I mean Feelthere) Embraers Phenom 100 135/145 and 175/195 and anything QualityWings (Boeing 757 from memory) All Payware unfortunately.

Carenado Baron for a less complex aircraft.

Good luck with the hunt

Regards

Tony

1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

@edu2703

The best FS9 planes are:

(I think I don't forget any, but be careful because some of those here may not be compatible with W10, for example, the Fokker F100 from Digital desing is not compatible with W10.)

iFly Jets: The 747-400v2 for FS2004

iFly Jets - The 737NG for FS2004

Level-D Simulations: The 767

The Flight One ATR 72-500

The Aeroworx X-treme King Air B200

DreamFleet 727

QualityWings Simulations - The Ultimate 146 Collection for FS2004

QualityWings Simulations - The Ultimate 757 Collection for FS2004

You can get them at the flight1 software store: http://www.flight1.com/

Ready For Pushback Boeing 747-200v2 FS2004 (freeware)

Supronov design Yak-40 (freeware)

and of course the Tu-154 (freeware)

Regards

P.S: do not forget that for fs9 you can get free the clouds and sky textures from toga projects: https://www.togaprojects.com/freewares

The best 777 you can get it the payware PSS 777 merged with the frreware Posky 777.

I'd like to add the SCS Tu-134 to the list.

Furthermore, I second E69_Brisafresca that the Dreamfleet 727 is a superb plane, but it is indeed not (fully) compatible with Win7 (and probably Win10).

The Leonardo MD80 is also quite good with it's FS9 version. It also comes with old analog gauges version(not yet in P3D version) but without VC (VC for EFIS only)

And TinMouse 732. For FS9, VC and external model are integrated, so you need to choose an add-on VC model with less quality external view or the original non-VC model.

But... someone managed to make Feelthere 737classic's VC into 50N's model... with 737CL EVO's gaugue, that's the 737CL I still fly today.

And I feel that PSS757 is slightly better than QW one...while they all not that good...

The Leonardo MD80

PMDG's 744 was better than iFly's version.  Sadly it's no longer available like the PMDG MD11.

I am not doubting you for one second I am genuinely interested as to why you think so. Their 737 is quite something considering the constraints of FS9 and the 747 came out later so I would have thought it would be much more impressive than than the PMDG. I was thinking to buy the iFly 747 so this is quite interesting.

If you are talking about the old freeware 747 (v1) by iFly, then I can support that statement.

But if you compare it with the newer v2 payware, then I am not with you.

The only reason I still have the old PMDG Queen installed, is because it also includes the freighter and -400D models.
