I can't see the project being cancelled at all, if MS was thinking about that, they'd also be thinking about cancelling the new Xbox as well, which would be catastrophic for the company. Equally LR and LM would have to be thinking along the same lines for their new sims as well, and why would they?

Can sure see who the panic buyers are with no sense and no regard for anyone but themselves.

Stats are useless, ship arguments are useless, media is useless, praying won't do anything.

With a market cap of 1.068T & their stock value increasing, there is NO indication anywhere that Microsoft is in the red.

While it's very much possible that it will be delayed due to the current crisis eventually, there is still no statement from either MS or Asobo that the actual sim is going to be delayed. They probably don't know themselves at this point. What they said is that they are halting updates such as the Feature Discovery Series to be able to concentrate on the core development of the sim. If you say speculation is pointless why don't you stop speculating yourself?

There is still not statement on release period or what`s included or price ECT ECT. but they have stated they are delayed due to the present circumstances, but no big deal for me more important things in the world than this.

There is something way more important going on right now, I agree. I'm not trying to be picky, but where exactly did they say the simulator is delayed? All I see is that development updates are being scaled back and they are working from remote work places. Anything else is speculation.

Sorry my friend but, if I am not mistaken, you are disseminating a fake news. That the product could be delayed is, of course, a possibility but they didn't say it.    

Retrenchment meeting next week. No work , no pay, no internet, no new rig and alas no new sim.

Will maybe move to the coast and stay with my son. BUT, being 54 in SA at the moment its going to near impossible. At least got a good pair of shoes to take to the streets looking for a job.

 It just amaze me how quick this virus can turn life completely around.

I'm in the same position, here in Cape Town.. I'm 67, retrenched last year, luckily I just finished 6 moths of data capture work. Obviously, nobody doing any hiring at all. 

We have to keep smiling.

I was involved with  the SAAF museum for years, as well as the Shackleton project. I belonged to Cape Virtual, our sim club, and rebuilt a Shackleton simulator, as well as an Impala sim, 2 seater, both using actual components.
