They could put in your insider profile three basic things to make it a bit more transparent, something like this:

  • Application date
  • Application status (pending / accepted)
  • dxdiag (last updated / not received)

The official twitter account confirmed it was an oversight

If they include everyone in the Insider program they have a long way to go, can they do that this year Roadmap up to June/July already.

Or do what I do and give it up. Dont expect anything and you'll be happier.

I did not get this email. I looked in my spam box as well.

The last email from MSFS team was a newsletter, last month.

Where? I checked their twitter and there's no post about it.

Well conceivably Microsoft should know who got the emails and we should be next in line, it may not be a joke, but it is cruel to get our hopes up like that.

I applied for the Alpha day one and never received a confirmation e-mail saying that it had gone through or anything.

No one got one of those.

I also got this email, and also scoured my junk mail for the alpha invite that I must have "missed". Sigh.

I remembered that there's a way to check conclusively if you're part of the alpha: download the app "Xbox Insider Hub" and login with the account you used, then go to "Insider Content". If Flight Simulator isn't in there, you're not part of the alpha.

(If Asobo is reading this, I still can't login to the MSFS Insider Site with Chrome. I just get the "invalid token" error and have 2 months now).

You are correct, if you never got the email this location will show if your in or not.

This essential s mistake and has been verified. Done.

Thank you.
