Here is the quoted text from the dialog box: The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. We’re offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn’t quite ready for it. Once your device is ready, you’ll see the update available on this page. There’s nothing you need to do at this time. Wish mine would do that. It keeps trying to redownlaod and reinstall. From where comes the difference compared to 9.2->10.2? Does screen size matter perhaps? I have no idea why my "devices" are not ready yet, but apparently I have something 2004 doesn't like. Rob, Here's more details of some ongoing MS investigations why not all PCs are ready for the May 2020 update. It mentions HVCI being enabled on some devices. It also mentions having the latest graphic driver instaleld for those wanting to workaround this. https://www.forbes.com/sites/daveywinder/2020/05/28/dont-press-windows-10-2004-update-now-button-microsoft-warns-some-users-may2020-windows10-update-warning/#69f68a236fc0 Regards SpoilerSystem specs: MFG Crosswind pedals| ACE B747 yoke |Honeycomb Bravo throttleNow built: P3Dv5.3HF2: Intel i5-12600K @4.8Ghz | MSI Z690-A PRO | Asus Dual RTX 4070 Super OC 12Gb| 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz |Samsung 980Evo Pro PCIe 500Gb | WD Black SN850 PCIe 2Tb | WD SA510 4Tb |beQuiet 802 Tower Case|Corsair RM850 PSU | Acer Predator X34P 3440x1440pMark AldridgeMSFS2024 SU5 & P3D v5.3 HF2

The Update on the cockpit PC said okay, and did all the downloading and got to 83% of the installing when it complained of corrupt files! This is despite me using AI Suite to load a non-overclocked configuration (just 5GHz, the max boost of the 9900KS I think). I tried again and got a different error, something to do with images. So I downloaded it on my Development PC downstairs as an ISO and put it on a USB stick. That worked okay. So now I only have a problem with the nVidia 446.14 video drivers which are limiting my P3d5 frame rates to 12.5 (exactly) even with no limits or VSync set anywhere. The 442.50 drivers work fine. I'll try the 445.87 ones. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. GPU: RTX 24Gb Titan 2 x 2160p projectors at 25Hz onto 200 FOV curved screen
June 1, 20206 yr Botched at least One of out PC’s What they should say is: we do not know how to code anymore. And our Q&A department is non existing. Every iteration of windows 8 & 10 has had problems, remember last one? It deleted user files. I will skip updating my home and SIM PC’s as long as I can. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

In Canada? thanks mike It has been released, but not everyone is getting it at the same time via windows update. Apparently it also checks your system and won't offer the update if it feels it will be problematic. Both my Desktop PC's are not showing the update. You can download and install it manually if you want, but you could run into problems. Hope this helps.
June 1, 20206 yr Backup-System with Veeam Backup. Media Creation Tool -> download ISO -> mount -> install -> reboot. All good.
June 1, 20206 yr Author It's not geography related. My desktop picked it up, my surface laptop didn't yet.
