With the release only 12 days away I was wondering if Avsim are planning how to handle all the new posts. Watching the various videos that are doing the rounds it's clear to see there are a few anomalies in the sim. Plenty of sub forums will be needed. Looking forward to getting back into simming again and SEEING the world.

Ed.

And even if there isn't, it will feel like there is one. 🤣

This place will be hopping for sure, .Long time coming for simmers

I would say the main forum stays for the hysteric, useless threats that are bombed down on us every 30 sec (roughly estimated).

Then i need 1 subforum for serious discussions on technical issues.

Then i need 1 subforum maybe for travel advices, something like a FS20 trip advisor with hints to nice places to be visited by air.

Then i need 1 subforum for aircraft.

then i need 1 subforum for scenery addons.

just my 2 cents.

Yes.

On the other hand, I wouldn't exclude the MS fora "coming soon" for a year now to go live upon release, which could  relieve AVSIM, if properly working.

Kind regards, Michael

I'd prefer if there was a subforum called "Your Sim Sucks" and that was the only place you're allowed to post your views about this sim vs that sim.

I think there should be a special subforum, where people can ask for special subforums.

Primarily so I can not bother going there and not have to read all the idiotic requests for pointless subfoums.

I do like the idea of a 'your sim sucks' subforum though. That's another one I would studiously avoid.

One thing is that a lot of youngsters use Reddit and the Steam forums these days.

Don't forget discord too 😉

ROFL ... hand me the oxygen. 🙂

No, but seriously, it's a good idea to have a place where we can post issues, troubles, bugs ... one spot so they don't get spread around everywhere. Would also be nice to group them in a few categories like critical, major, minor, cosmetic, 'nice to have'.

And a 'beautiful places to visit' is nice too.
