Truly hope the negativity doesnt kill the sim

Are there any third party aircraft for it yet?

I see Orbx has already released a couple airports, more interested to find ANY third party plane to see how the physics are...

Come on man, this release is a real disappointment.

I wonder if console users of the sim have a lot of negativity?

Console games: They need to work straight out of the download or when you insert the DVD. None of this configuring the OS, will it boot or won't it? etc.

XBOX version hasn't been released yet. There's no date for when it will be released at this time.

Hmm.... perhaps that should tell the gaming world something... why isn't it ready for console gamers?

"The console users are coming here"?!

"Yes, Asobo......and they are most displeased with your lack of progress"

"We shall double our efforts. The console version will be ready on time"

"I hope so, Asobo....for your sake. Console users are not as forgiving as we are"

Meanwhile the XP forums are celebrating a party over how bad MSFS is. 😄

Happy with MSFS 🙂
home simming evolved

Well guys, my eyes are blood shot from reading stuff all over the net. I have not installed 2020 yet as real world aviation and other life things must be completed before I have a go at it. I’ve read everything from professional pilots reporting A+ to people demanding a refund.
It seems that it is truly outstanding from a graphical point of view, but there are many aspects to sort out, some very minor and some critical to level study flight. Rushed or not rushed to market, it gives us all a chance to experience the new technology and all new technology is never perfect upon initial release. Improvements will come as items in the priority list are checked off.

Well I have been flight simming since the days of the Amiga and I have a pretty low end PC, i5 Haswell at 3.4, gforce 960 and 16Gb ram, and due to making an error with the steam install, I ended up with the bulk of the program on the HDD C drive, there are all sorts of things that are proving tricky, learning how to use the current key inputs, getting used to the cameras, figuring out how the autopilot functions (yes, it does work, just not the same as FSX, but suspect a lot closer to a real one) I had all Orbx scenery for the UK and US, and they did a great job, but no matter how good, you knew that what you saw was some kind of approximation to reality, in this every rough dirt track and field and ditch and farm are there for real, wherever you go, that is fantastic, the planes will develop with time, people will make add ons that address minor and major features, some for free some payware, come on, it's what we have seen for the past 25 years.  I am getting about 30 fps most of the time but it also comes to a standstill at times when it's loading in stuff, yes it's a bit irritating, but it's also incredible. I have no doubt it will go on being incredible. All the whingy commenters need to go watch pepper pig for an hour to settle down a bit.

Not all of the "whingy" commenters are doing so for laughs. Everyone has a different opinion on what makes a "comfortable" flight simulation experience for them. We would do well to remember that.

Like usual, AVSIM only sees the negative of everything instead of looking at the positive and the essential. Rob made is sounds like P3D is the greatest sim ever. Yet LM hasn't fix CYVR taxi graphic glitch since May.  I think with all the flaws the game has, at least we have a developer that is willing to fix things and listesn. And before Rob comes over and mention , we told Asobo months ago about this and that, Asobo works on a priorities list. They do listen. Some things will be fix later than others. You just have to live with that.  We are judging a game that just launch officially 2 days ago and we are trying to judging like it's been on the market for years.   It will take time and some of you just need to go back to P3D and XP11 if you can't live with the issue the sim has right now for a certain period of time.

Claude - I think perhaps some folks are shocked that it is possible to make a sim where autogen houses don't float and radio antennas aren't five-miles-high. 😉

Carenado released a C182 that can be bought from the store in-game.

FSX: PMDG 777, Majestic Q400, QW 146.

What negativity?

I'm seeing very little negativity outside of this forum.

I’m certain that given some time, MOST everyone (not everyone) complaining will be using this as their main platform in due time...assuming it doesn’t get abandoned.

The xbox console FS 2020 is going to be released on don´t even have a release date yet  that´s why 🙂

Don´t see how any negativity on elitistic flight sim forums could ever hurt this sim. It has qualities that is impossible to deny that make it worth flying for a lot of people.
