August 23, 20205 yr ...for those with wide view monitors...there is the turn on WideVIewAspect in P3D. Well, quess what..it is in the Flightsimulator.cfg file on line 30...with it turned off..but IT IS THERE... I just set mine to WideViewAspect=1 and saved with Note Plus + That will correct your fish eye when you go to External Camera, as well as when you pan inside the cockpit..on a wide view monitor such as a 3440x1440. Fish Eye gone...

August 23, 20205 yr Isn't WideViewAspect the appropriate setting for something like 99% of monitors in use today? Why isn't it enabled by default? Barry Friedman

August 23, 20205 yr For me, the WPSystem (I installed everything on separate drive) is the original folder. I think it must be symlink or something similar - didn't research it yet. And those two folders have the same content.
August 23, 20205 yr Great find, however when I implement it, MSFS keeps returning it to 0 every time I exit the sim. Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
