Where you it would show the cache path etc. I changed it without noting the original default. I did not want it using my C drive for Cache. I have a dedicated 1 TB SSD for it. This is something new for us. Need to learn more on the subject. If I had known, instead of a 512GB m.2 SSD. I would have bought a 2TB m.2 for the C Drive and kept the cache there only. I also have 2TB m.2 SSD (my D drive for MSFS. and a regular old 1TB SATA SSD (my current cache is here and I have allocated 800GB for it). Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

But we should use another thread for this. August 23, 20205 yr I think this switch was reported as broken / not working yet on a graphics optimisation thread somewhere. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Lens Correction does nothing for me but changing the WideAspect to = 1 does work. However every time you exit MSFS it resets to 0. Also if i make any changes under Graphics and save those settings it resets WideApsect to 0 immediately. August 24, 20205 yr Try setting the file to readonly. Just as an experiment Also, take a screenshot with it enabled and disabled. Both images are identical in my case, so I think this setting has no effect at the moment. August 24, 20205 yr To get to your .cfg WpSystem/S-1-5-21-****-1001/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/FlightSimulator or the easy way; go to your MSFS2020 drive and type in the search bar MicrosoftFlightsimulator.cfg James (jaydor) "Let me X-Plane where I fly in 2020"
August 24, 20205 yr Yeah the Lens Correction option seems to be broken at this time. But yes, it is supposed to manipulate VideViewAspect setting. Hopefully it'll get fixed in next patch.
August 24, 20205 yr Thank you for this great tip for setting the Aspect Ratio. It works great...unfortunately, it does revert back to 0 after saving it to 1. I sincerely hope Asobo corrects this with their updates. Saving something in the config should be a no-brainer. I made a shortcut to my desktop for the config just to make it easier to reset before flying. Stan
August 24, 20205 yr Moderator That cfg file puzzles me. It shows all the TextInfo settings and text color settings but TMK there are no "brakes" or "Overspeed" or the info lines that shiftZ used to bring up. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
