September 27, 20205 yr Any TBM fans out there? A modern success story, for sure. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
September 27, 20205 yr Thanks. Must admit I have become a fan from MSFS. A single-engine turboprop with performance characteristics close to a light jet is pretty amazing! It would be an amazing versatile aircraft to own in real life.

It's really fun to fly and doesnt seem to have any significant bugs (as far as I know). I plan to fly it until a decent airliner comes out
September 27, 20205 yr There is another sim that has a very realistic TBM 900 although a G1000. fully modeled. I only purchased it after flying the MSFS version) It is a real pleasure to fly by the numbers. The MSFS version really doesn't do it justice though it is, fun.
September 27, 20205 yr best default plane in MSFS2020 and fully ifr equiped for vatsim! all switches works😎 Edited September 27, 20205 yr by BackboneOne

There is a lot missing in the G3000, the lighting has a temporary mod to correct. I heard one of the Github teams would be working on the G3000 at some future date. I am looking forward to the improved version, but, I am also flying this version often as I wait. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
September 27, 20205 yr The only plane I have flown in MSFS. It has a very crude G3000 but the autopilot tracking features are spot on to ForeFlight when I run the app simultaneously with the sim. Planning the flights before hand with ForeFlight and knowing the plane will follow exactly as planned is great. Currently editing my next video - a combined RNAV/IFR flight from Nice Côte d’Azur (LFMN) to Courchevel (LFLJ). So cool! But, as you guys mentioned, lots of room to improve the flight deck on this one. Still lots of fun! September 27, 20205 yr Yes absolute awesome aircraft, I flew nothing else in XP11, and now I'm flying the 930 in FS2020, its pretty good isn't it but like you say room for improvement...great plane, when I win the lotto im going to buy a real one!!! Regards Paul EGCC
September 27, 20205 yr Don't forget to subscribe to Steveo1Kinevo who flies the TBM 850 for a living.. Some find his videos obnoxious but I've been subscribed to him for years now.. His videos are excellent and extremely educational. He's an excellent pilot. One of my more favorites of his.. September 27, 20205 yr Thumbs up for Steveo! The TBM is fantastic in MSFS. Folks have to remember that the TBM in XP had to be patched several times and is payware. I enjoyed it very much in XP, but flying in MSFS is so much more immersive.
September 27, 20205 yr I've flown the TBM the most of any aircraft so far. It's fast, fun, and relatively easy to fly as a default aircraft. Performance is good without moving up to a twin or a jet. I was not surprised when I looked up the history of the type to find that it was developed via partnership between Mooney and SOCATA. I think there is a lot of Mooney DNA in there. I haven't flown the paid version available for another sim, which I am sure is a more accurate representation. AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals

Yup, have watched many of his vids. I find him pretty down to earth most of the time. He puts a lot of effort and thought into the video editing. Not quite as polished as Premier 1 Driver, but excellent content with great flying tip reminders! September 27, 20205 yr Seeing one of Steveo’s videos is what got me to try the TBM. I’m loving the thing even before patch 2 made in one of the few things still flyable. That speed and the agility of a small plane combined is just amazing along with being capable of some fairly short takeoffs and landings. I always liked the baron b58 g58 type twins in previous versions of the MS sim but I haven’t even turned the G58 on yet I this one. September 27, 20205 yr I have to say that for me an Hot Start TBM from Xplane, a Carenado Phenom300 with GTN750 and up to date Navigraph, and of course a PMDG or iFly 737 from P3D and anything from Aerobask in MSFS would put me into aeroplane heaven. That is probably a good name for an simulation aircraft developer as well LOL Bring on the SDK and 3PDs, but hurry please. In the mean time I try to fly all the aircraft in MSFS at various times.
