September 30, 20205 yr I sometimes write long posts. I like to write and I like to provide as much as much information as the topic requires...especially when I write things like the 'There are Pilots and there are Fighter Pilots' a day or two or three ago. And even though I have tired old eyes I still enjoying reading and writing long posts. I am guessing bean sprout is young and busy and doesn't have much time to wade through long posts. I understand you young uns have jobs and commitments and have to ration your time. Just ignore the longer posts. But Ron and I are old timers. We have a lot of time on our hands and reading and posting on forums, especially this one, is how we communicate with each other. We have stories to tell, experiences to share, and for some of us who were real world pilots anecdotes that we would like relate. So, bean sprout, don't force your desire for brevity on us. This is where the friends here, though flung far and wide across the globe, communicate with each other. Out of 1295 posts I have 935 likes. That means 72% of what I have written has been enjoyed by one or more readers. Thanks guys and God willing I'll continue to write. Noel Edited September 30, 20205 yr by birdguy The tires are worn. October 1, 20205 yr A scream tore through the silence of my gameroom and echoed down the walls toward the kitchen. "Good load, he's slid of the take off path again", mumbled the wife. I squeezed my eyes shut with a final pant of exhaustion, beads of sweat lined my brow. Would I be laughed off the forum if I blamed it on these new rudder pedals? Mulling over these thoughts, I felt the tap of fingers on my shoulder. This sudden exchange of human flesh to fabric stirred me out my tiredness. My finger muscles relaxed and dropped my newly purchased Wonder Mouse. Without that center wheel how could I look around in time to repair my Cub's meandering direction? I could hear the dull clatter of the mouse bouncing down the flight of stairs leading to the bedroom. "Shall we follow that mouse", I grinned? "Your speaker is torn! Fix it" And hold down the noise", she glowered.... 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Most forums limit the number of characters that can be included in a quoted post and then have a "More..." link to goes to the original post in a new tab or window. Maybe someone could look into this change in the forum software.

Have you thought about evenly distributing the coins either side of your trousers? That way, you may proceed in a more balanced way. Let's say for example you have 935 likes for just one post in 1295, that would be less than 1% of your posts were liked. I don't get a lot of likes because my posts are often too long and I'm such a big head. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
