Same here, get CTD at exactly the same point.

Me too! Trying to re-install, will let you know in many hours time if that fixes things 😠

The number of us reporting the same issue suggests a flawed update.

All the best,

John

Patch fixed my Korea problem. Flew right over NKSS and down Park Ave. no CTD. Korea looks gorgeous now.

What problem did you have in Korea and what changes did they do in order to make it better? I haven't flown there much but am curious to try.

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

I'm back to P3D v4.5 until the issue is rectified. Lesson learned!

Same problem here. Tried emptying Community Folder, turning off NVIDA custom settings. No help.

Updated Win 10 to 20H2 and still get the CTD after this

Some people are reporting in the official MSFS forums that certain devices such as joysticks and other flight simulator peripherals connected when MSFS launches is causing CTDs.  You may want to unplug them and start MSFS to see if you can get past this screen.

Will try this after updating my windows and nvidia drivers. Although that would mean I need to fly without my trusted honeycomb alpha.....😢

2 Saitek throtttle quadrants and a Thrustmaster T16000M Joystick.

It crashes again when I plug in the saitek controls.

All the best,

So what else is new?

This time I downloaded the update without a problem but now the sim will not run. Microsoft store say I have it installed.

Stops at checking for updates (spinning disc) after taking a couple of days reinstalling after the last up date I'm loath to do it all again, I wont my £110 back.

from this bug ridden piece of junk.
