MS FS 2020 Update # 5 Now Available

Recommended Posts

Isn’t motion blur for lower FPS? I’ve never used something like that before, I wonder if it’s any good.

Steam Version upgraded. It was fast !

After upgrade, check your Content Manager - I had to download some files manually.

I now launch FS 2020 in 1'12''

Ouch.. Hopefully this just applies for me, but my sim CTD everytime I try to start it now.

Just downloaded latest nVidia driver and rebooted, but no difference.

OK - So it seems like you are able to start the sim at least. Good to know.

1.10.7

Biggest update so far for me in terms of GB. Roughly 1 GB in MS Store, and 7.52GB in game

For me 259 MB in Steam and 4GB in game...would be interesting to know where these differences in downloadsize come from.

I will temporarily empty my Community folder. That might help.

Edit: It did not 😞

Come on Asobo - don't do this to me...

I just fired up FS2020, and it said that a new mandatory update was available. I imagine that it's update#5. Just curious if anyone has already installed it, and if it caused any major problems on their sim. I have not installed it yet. Thanks.

It is meant to simulate the real life motion blur you get when watching something moving really fast like a fan for example.

Might depend if you have the base game or premium/deluxe.
