I see. So you jump into a thread that has nothing to do with your issue just to complain that your issue didn’t get the attention in this community that you thought it should? Who’s being the Drama Queen here?

October 31, 20205 yr Each sim has its own approach. From my personal perspective, I don't really consider any of them to be necessarily more "real" than any other. Mostly I consider them to be simply artistic choices from the various sims artists/developers. Yet here we are. Usually when we have kind of finicky discussions like this, its former and current pilots driving it, and as usual, whatever one says is usually instantly contradicted by two others. Eventually Asobo will run out of time and patience to be fiddling with this; especially when its almost certainly only a few hundred people worldwide on forums like this who have a problem with it, rather than the hundreds of thousands (or millions) of regular users who simply think its pretty. (if they think of it at all) And compared to the above, THIS is what we complained about until they switched it. Be careful what you ask for!!! October 31, 20205 yr the night lighting on the ground is better now but i still feel they need to make the atmospheric lighting alot darker so it looks like night so you can hardly see the aircraft like in real life. Alexander Shepherd

Just use geforce experience lots of settings to play with - that will change to your liking - not all monitors are the same Rich Sennett

And MSFS does need much over a consistent 30fps to be enjoyable, so I usually keep it turned off.

Do you mean this video was taken prior v1.10.7? In my experience the only way to get such lighting in FS2020 was to disable ground "something" in the developer menu so that only 3D lights were visible. Otherwise, most areas were flooded with the Black Marble ground texture and its blooming artifacts spreading over large areas around the location of the emitting lights.
