Thanks for sharing,

I hope that they fixed also the smoothing, that we don’t get sudden weather changes anymore. That is for me the biggest advantage of HifiSim that you fly into a weather system without all the time local Metar updates.

With the HF coming very shortly from LM that addresses the issue I wonder why they are even bothering to code in a workaround??

Maybe they know that the HF won't be here as soon as everyone had hoped.

I think you are right also, that is what I can infer from HiFi's statement

They just want people to be able to use Active Sky without any pressure, if I was Damian I would have done the same.. if he has a work around is worth implementing it for now.. what if the HF can't still address it, or get's delayed because we find more issues during testing, or wherever. In the meantime people might switch to alternative solutions.. so.. sitting waiting for the HF is not the best tactic unless you have no other option available.. just saying.

My advise is to don't take any conclusions from this and just enjoy what will be delivered.

Excellent post Simbol.

Keep us kinda in the loop how the internal P3Dv5.1.x testing is going (please feel free to drop some hints here and there).

Well, I'll take it, as I don't use EA and would like to see AS P3D working with v5.1 and non-EA weather.  If an EA workaround gets it released for non-EA users, I color that a win.

If HiFi can figure it out for the current 5.1, they would be even closer to having an answer for a 5.1 hotfi.x

I've been waiting to buy the P3DV5 version since June, when's it going to be out, and don't say soon.
