So yeah, that Confederation bridge mentioned in the Landmark list was the one in Canada.

I'm about to check out SLC area, supposed to have 1m mesh update along the ridgeline. Though I'm not sure it will make as much difference as people are thinking, because IME with photoscenery the quality of the photoscenery for mountains usually matters more than the mesh. Though hard to say in this case since the default mesh in FS 2020 is so LOW res in some places, maybe it will help more than I've seen in other sims with ortho.

Is the World Update II sitting at "Waiting" with a locked twirly thingie? (that's its official name, hehe).  its at 608mb done so far

Am I locked up...or are there a million other simmers trying to update too?  I got the main update blazingly fast though!  Record time in fact.

I had to reassign the cursor keys for adjusting the view point, they were dead right after the update. Anyone else experienced this issue?

Yes, same thing here.

After updating, when I open the Content Manager, it apparently keeps trying to update (I get the spinning circle) for what seems for ever.

Update: Restarted the sim and the Content Manager finally opened. Maybe it just takes a loooong time to update for some reason.

I got lucky, worked for me, na-nah-na-nah (sorry)...

Flying around the supposed 1m mesh now, seeing if any difference.

Remember Terrain detail is also tied to your graphics settings.

I noticed, I lost my ability to move within the cockpit with the right arrow and up arrow.

DFW airport is better, but it could use a payware for sure.

Now I'm starting a second try at the East Coast discovery flight. On my first attempt I wanted to take it low and slow on autopilot in order to appreciate the beautiful scenery, and the flight plan crashed me right into Lady Liberty 😂

the update added some some new keyboard profiles and changed mine to one of the new ones. Switched back to my original keyboard profile and all is good.

This is not good...

Fort Jefferson is mentioned in the release notes but in reality the entire Florida Keys have been significantly updated.

I just flew from Key West (great photogrammetry) along the seven miles bridge to Marathon. Just like the real deal. This used to be my playground as pilot IRL about 20 years ago. Just amazing.

Look like there are some tweak in FM. It's noticeable in Carenado PA44. I literally flew before and right after the patch. Crazy pitch oscillations are gone, autopilot (assuming Carenado is using default) is much smoother now

I noticed the same thing.  I just landed the Mooney without bouncing LOL!

Hm, the Confederation bridge is just a label, it's not a custom model

So this was scaled down from North America to US? Where are the CPU improvements? Unless the three bullets on performance are it?
