December 2, 20205 yr Did you guys the see proposed prices for the CRJ from Matijis comment here: Quote We have decided on pricing: The CRJ 550/700 will cost €42 (plus your local vat when applicable). The CRJ 900/100 will cost €16.75 (plus your local vat when applicable). The CRJ 900/1000 will require the CRJ 550/700 to be installed on the system. The product will sell on our shop and will be uploaded to the MS InGame Store at the same time. When it will be available there depends on how fast Microsoft can handle it. It is at this moment not planned to be sold on any other shop. That is cheap indeed ! AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

I stated the other day on this very thread that it should be exactly around that price point (i.e. sub fifty quid) in order to garner more sales by not scaring any users off. With any luck that will set a bit of a precedent. On a funnier note, given what was said about the preceding version being called 'professional' because of the P3D licensing, I dare Aerosoft to market this one as the CRJ Unprofessional. 🤣 Edited December 3, 20205 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
December 3, 20205 yr Aerosoft seems to be working really hard to get this out soon. They're going to make out quite well since there's currently no competition in the payware airliner market. Hopefully there are no major issues with the CRJ as this will likely gain them many new customers who are new to flight sim, and help their reputation.

What I find hilariously funny in this and the dozens of other threads about Aerosoft is how a lot of folks are in shock about Aerosoft's business approach, even though Mr. Kok spells it out at every opportune moment. Their products are marketed to what might be called the mass market +, that is to say, they want to reach the kid with a passing interest in planes and simming as well as the average avsim simmer who doesn't always have the time to fiddle around with 125 knobs or turn 345 dials. And they are very good at hitting exactly this sweet spot in the addon market. Consequently, people hate on Aerosoft, buy their products, hate some more, and round and round it goes. Kind of amusing to watch.
