November 30, 20205 yr @cepact is correct. This looks like a work-around, it's not a fix to the underlying problem. It's also probably specific to the A320, but it could give other developers a hint on how to apply the same changes to their own projects until Asobo de-bugger things.

November 30, 20205 yr I just did a flight using the latest FBW developer version with the Lateral autopilot fix. While it seems to fix the route tracking it still failed to intercept the LOC and was offset 2 dots to the left on the PFD landing well off the runway? John
November 30, 20205 yr While this fix is currently specific only to the FBW mod, the word is that Asobo will be releasing an update for the sim itself to fix the heading change logic bug that arose with Patch 7. I hope this will be a hotfix released soon, rather than waiting for a full update two or three weeks from now. November 30, 20205 yr Great to hear. But interesting how this seems to have materialized... So does this mean that there's no real hot fix mechanism for this software? And that hot fixes will come through modders? And to all of those complaining about those of us who complained about it... would this fix have materialized so quickly (if at all) without a vocal uprising on the forums? No, Asobo can definitely hotfix just one specific bug for all users with a small patch. They did it a few weeks ago when attached USB controllers were causing the sim to CTD on launch for multiple users after one of the regular sim updates, The fix they released was just for that one issue. In the last developer Q&A they did mention that they had opened a direct line of communication with modders like FBW and Working Title. In this case, that obviously helped bring the problem to the attention of Asobo management, since Sebastian himself got involved. This is a good thing.
