December 5, 20205 yr Was wondering if the few of you that actually know how to fix current problems know the actual solution why not posted here ? seems like we have so many experts i figure post your fix here in detail since apparently we get a million and a half replys from some that describe what asobo should fix why dont you all open up files and post what you changed here that way since again we have so many experts that talk like they knew years ago what or how things should off been done come on share what you know . I just had to get this off my chest , I see so many opinions with a kind of authority that trys to make it look like 3 5 year olds are the ones behind the development of what we have today that i figure ill ask the few of you that know so much to teach the 3 5 year olds how is done . December 5, 20205 yr Well, Asobo use some commas in their text to make it more readable, so they are good at that. Here's some for you!.. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , 😁 As for what you are asking (or ranting about - are you an Asobo employee?😄) , how can we know, as we don't know their processes, but it is obvious that the quality control/testing of new updates isn't the best. I am looking forward to them beta testing again before they release updates in future, so that things don't get broken or regress as much - are you against people being critical of that or asking for it? One thing though, some pre-release beta testers said they weren't listened to, so it might be pointless if they don't listen better and make sure they understand exactly what is being reported (so there is another suggested improvement). On example of not listening properly it seems, is when people asked for the glowing sepia night lighting to be removed. The rest of the night lighting was superb as we all know, and was the best we had seen in any flight simulator. However, they ended up changing the lot, and the night lighting is now like Xplane, which is good, but not as good as it was in this sim originally, and I wish they would put it back. How about that as another suggestion? Do you agree with that? Edited December 5, 20205 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Sorted! Note that this fix will only work providing the underslung thrunge bucket scavenge relief valve actuator, is in the neutral position. Of course any 3-5 year old knows this, so ensure that you have a 3-5 year old available to assist you if attempting this fix. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

December 5, 20205 yr While I agree with the OP that it gets annoying the second guessing of development priorities. We don't have the source and that's required to prioritize resources UNLESS you can afford to spend all of your resources on one or two issues that happen to be knee deep in some not-so-compartmentalized routines to satisfy the user base. Just conjecture but low hanging fruit tends to be picked first and most likely that drives priorities more than anything else. Everyone wants progress (publisher, customers, etc.) and that's one way to show steady progress. But I digress from the point I was going to make: While I understand the irritation at some posts (and I think the dark negativity should stay where it is e.g. in the user's head) the complaining does serve as a pressure release valve for some of us tightly wound folks (or just tightly wound about one thing or another). Everything in moderation (LOL). We all know the middle ground is best to get along, and a sure fire guarantee to get hit when walking down the road. Or train tracks.
December 5, 20205 yr It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single engined plane in possession of a bad auto pilot, must be in want of an Asobo update. It was a dark and stormy night when thus I turned on my computer in front of my friends. Well, they aren't laughing any more! It was the best of updates, it was the worst of updates. It was the files of wisdom, it was the files of foolishness. But it made the planes fly on time, so call me Ishmael ! 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. We are not capable and not supposed to fix the sim. We have paid for it and we want it fixed. Even if we were capable, we could not fix a closed source software. Imagine buying a new car, paying for it in advance, and realizing after a week that many accessories don't work, A/C is weak, the engine stops on the highway from time to time, water leaks from the roof when it rains. Imagine taking the car to the workshop 7 times in 4 months to have a couple of things fixed, another couple more broken than before, a few cosmetic touches here and there and a complimentary Arbre Magique on the mirror. Then you go home, post the issues on a forum (not to vent, - well, not only - but to share your experience with others and have visibility with the car manufacturer) and someone tells you "why don't you disassemble the car in your garage and fix it yourself, then teach the manufacturer how to fix it?".
